UPDATE:. After 4 long years, I was convinced by my wife to have lunch here. I was shockingly surprised by the difference between this visit and my previously reviewed visit. They finally had a change in management and the effects are obvious! The staff is pretty awesome now. They are attentive and considerate. Now, I go often enough that they remember me and my order. The chili dogs are my normal choice, but also love the Megaburger! I have loved Nu-Way since I was in high school and am certainly glad that I can visit this location again!!!, "I'd go a long way for a Nu-Way!". And apparently, if I want Nu-Way, I'll have to. I will never step foot in this restaurant again. Food was fine and the service was fine. However, there was some kind of personnel issue going on between the manager and an employee. Neither was too keen on hiding that fact. The employee was pouting and went storming through the restaurant, talking loudly and slammed the bathroom door. The manager said something else to her after she exited the bathroom. The employee then grabbed her bag and exited the restaurant only to return with only pants and a bra on. She threw her t-shirt on a table along with a check and again exited the restaurant. When I tried to talk to the manager about the incident, she raised her voice at me and was very disrespectful, saying something along the lines of, "you got your drink and your food now leave.". As a customer, I do not expect to be spoken to in a disrespectful manner. If I am trying to voice my concerns to a manager regarding an employee's behavior, I do not expect to be spoken to in a disrespectful manner. In addition to myself, there was also a family with a young boy in the restaurant while the employee paraded around the parking lot in her bra. The behavior of both employees was reprehensible and...
Read moreCute little place. We stopped for lunch on our way across GA. Food was good, loved the fries, place was clean. VERY clean. We were met by Cassandra with a fantastic greeting. She made sure our food was ordered perfectly. The prices were decent and the concern for the customer was very important.
However, this did not apply to all the employees. Brittney, according to her nametag, was eating a bowl of Lucky Charms behind the counter by the drive thru window. Her Christmas gifts, box of cereal, phone and keys were spread out on a table in the corner as if it was her living room. Brittney then proceeded to pace around the parking lot with her phone on speaker a while arguing with someone. The entire time we were eating, she was pacing the parking lot on her phone. Then as any good employee would do, she fixed her hair in the window~pic attached. This may not seem important to some but she IS a reflection of this company while wearing her Nu-way shirt and her employer should inform her of that. Had she been in the parking lot when I arrived I would have gone elsewhere. For me, customer service is everything, if you aren't proud of where you work, then your customers will mimic that behavior. There is more to keeping a business in good standing then food. If brittney and been like Cassandra or Darlene, you would have...
Read moreThis is one of the worst places you can eat...But the manger was so nice. And this one employee wasn't that great with attitude. I stop to grab lunch and realized. I didn't realized until i gotten onto the highway. I was to far away to tuned around. My sandwich was nasty. The egg was old. The ham was so thin you could see though it. The cheese was hard. Keep in mind I spent 7 bucks for something I had to trash. Plus getting off the highway loosing time and money. Do not eat at this place. You will...
