We have ordered take out from this establishment each week, sometimes twice weekly, for the past year (were previously in house customers for about 5 years). In the last couple of months there have been definite changes with our orders. For instance, on 03/26/2016 I ordered 2 Appetizers Casa Rolls, 2 Mexican Dinner plates of Chimichanga and 1Specialties Camerones a la Diabla. Total bill this visit $38.42. WHAT WE GOT was 2 of the Casa rolls, ok. 1 of the Camerones a la Diabla, ok. but 2 orders of Chimi Carne. Yuck! Not what we ordered. I called and spoke to Javier (who took my order) and he apologized. Well, should I bring the order back or will you give a credit, I asked. Not that I wanted to eat the Chimi Carne because it included nothing that I liked, mushrooms, bell peppers, etc. Javier told me that yes they could give one free meal but could not do two because they could not afford to waste food. I told Javier than if I were sitting in his restaurant that he would have to take the food that was not ordered and bring the correct plate. I left this conversation at that very unhappy. So, I did not order for a couple of weeks, because I was upset. When I did order, no one seemed to know anything about the "free replacement meal" though the young lady who took my order remembered me and she remembered the problem we had. Brought our usual order which is 2 Casa Rolls, 1 Chimichanga Beef and 1 Camerones a la Diabla (our son was not eating at home this evening). Well, since no one seemed to no anything about getting a replacement meal we paid full price. AND, the Camerones a la Diabla foil plate had the shrimp and the cold salad together. The rice that is usually included in the shrimp dish because they are both supposed to be warm was in a tiny Styrofoam dish-cold. What is going on with this restaurant? We used to go as a family of six and sit inside with adequate service. Take out has worked in the past for my husband and I since the kids have left home but now we cant get our order right. AND to be told that they do not want take a loss of food (takeout) that they admitted they were wrong to put in the order is unacceptable. Kind of feel like if you order take out you get whatever...doesn't matter what you ordered..and don't expect a replacement. Next time, any issue with my take out order I will drive back to this establishment and demand what I ordered. And not with a cold salad in the same dish as my hot food. Very unhappy with this restaurant that we have been very loyal to for the past 6 or 7 years. Truly dislike pressing the stars because we have been satisfied with the food take out orders until recently. In the past I would give 5 stars, now only one. Sorry. Read moreBEWARE OF FOOD POISONING!!! We have eaten here many times and while the food is usually good, the service is always hit or miss. There's two ladies and one guy who are always really nice. Every single other server seems irritated that we're there. No matter if they're busy, slow, if I'm by myself or with a group. I've been sat at a table where I was completely forgotten, at least 3 times. Why do I keep going? Because it's very close to my house and the food is good. This weekend I took my sister and my daughter here for dinner on Saturday night and we have all been throwing up and running to the bathroom since yesterday. Along with fighting off a horrible pounding headache and body aches from what is clearly food poisoning. My sister and daughter had to call out of work but luckily I work from home and I suffered through. Sadly I will not be going back again.
Edited to add- I called to complain and I was treated like scum under the owners shoe. She accused me of making it up since no one else had called to complain yet. This makes me so sad that the owner of this establishment would treat a loyal customer like this for absolutely no reason. I have brought so many friends and family to this restaurant to eat and I call in with one complaint about how the food made my family sick and the owner not only refused to apologize for our experience but she cut me off every time I spoke and acted like I had done something to her. I'm big on customer service and I hate to think anyone would give their money to this business. Read moreWent from my favorite restaurant to the worst I've ever been to. Today myself and 2 friends came in and sat at a table. Ordered our drinks and food. Once our food was recieved 2 of the orders (mainly rice) was 50% burnt.l to help i tried to order extra queso to cover it but it didnt work. After waiting almost 20 minutes for a waitress i finally asked a younger girl that was sitting down (appeared to be off) if she was working and if she could help. I explained that i would like a new one she said since the rice is made in bulk, all of the rice would be burnt and asked if i wanted something els. I said no and she assured me thay its ok and that everything would be taken off except the 1 meal that was eaten and three drinks. Satisfied with the deal she grabs the check and comes back.i explained that the queso was still on the order yet i wasnt able to eat it due to pouring it over the rice 🤦 . The young woman said sorrt my boss said you ordered it so you have to pay for it. I said can i atleast get the queso since im paying for it she said sorry thats above me you have to pay for it. ...
