Owner, Sakai Clement, was very gracious and patient with us explaining the products. He was very helpful. Store is new open about 2 weeks. Products are mainly from The Islands & Africa right now. I am sure more will be added. The store carries pantry items as well as unique, fresh vegetables, frozen fish (whole or portioned) & meat. He has the biggest, fresh ginger I have ever seen! Absolutely beautiful! We are adventurous eaters, so we purchased a few items to start with, definitely will return. I found this store today and it's great for Caribbean and African items. I bought goat, seasoning, sweet potato (the purples ones that are white on the inside), bulla, browning, and some locally made bracelets. There was also red snapper, callaloo, hard dough bread, patty, and so many more items. The store owner was very nice and helpful. She pointed out a lot of the items she had that I haven't seen since moving to Fort Wayne. The shop is a good size and I was able to find everything with ease!
