Arena Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Fort Wayne

My husband and I were looking forward to enjoying a late lunch break around 1p here today. Since we knew we didn't have much time we called ahead, about an hour ahead and placed our order to be ready for dine in at 1p. I arrived at 1p and waited 8min for service. The lunch rush has already left and there were only a few tables. When the server came by finally I let her know we placed a call ahead order but we would like to order drinks. She came back with drinks after serving another table drinks first and no food. At this point it was 1:12. I asked how much longer the food would be at which point she went to check & came back with a portion of our food, missing our side, & of course it had been sitting there since 1p or sooner clearly it was not fresh. Then, when we went to pay (after waiting a very long time and watching the server buss tables before working on guests that were clearly waiting on her with stacked plates she gave us the wrong bill, which we unfortunately neglected to check before handing a card since we were already frustrated and short on time, & charged us an order that was almost double our bill. They did void it after being brought to our attention however we are disappointed in the entire experience. We were hopeful to enjoy a nicer lunch than fast food for our break, we usually really enjoy arena, maybe we made the wrong choice here. Not a...

Four of my friends and I went to Arena Bar & Grill this afternoon, Wednesday 7/31. We chose to sit outside on the patio because it was a nice. The food and service were above average. But there was an obnoxious group of 10 profane men that were so loud we couldn't have a normal conversation at our table. After about an hour of this loud profanity, I politely asked the gentlemen if they could hold down the volume and profanity. They said they would , which lasted all of 2 minutes. Then things got even louder and the profanity was every other word. I confronted them again and what the said was they "were here everyday. This is our place. If you don't like it then leave." Apparently the management at Arena Bar & Grill don't care if this group of 10 people are severely loud and profane. Apparently they allow this group to "Own" the outside dining area and could care less that these infantile loud mouths drive off their customers. Well, our group of (5) were driven off, and we won't be returning. If the ownership of Arena has no problem with this group of obnoxious jerks, then they don't deserve our patronage. I would not recommend anyone sitting on the patio between 4:30pm 8:00pm, and I am not giving Arena Bar & Grill a positive review because they make no attempt to control infantile, loud,...

So, visited this place for the 3rd time in the past few years. The first 2 visits were kind of meh, so thus the reason for not going back but once a year. Regardless, we thought we would give it one more chance. Well, 3 strikes and we are out of here. I had wings for the second time, as they are supposed to be some of the best around. Last time I had them, they were just ok. So, this time around....same. They aren't bad, but they're just mediocre at best. The service has always been sub-par too, so we thought we would sit at the bar-top thinking the service would be better. Nope. My drink was empty, and all she said was "how we doing?" Well not good honey, my drink is empty and I'm still eating...duh. Why not offer me another drink...? The bar-top area is very small, so it's not like she couldn't turn around and look. My partner was never even offered another drink. In addition, the mixed drink was in a plastic tumbler which I thought was very tacky. To top off the evening...there is a creepy restroom attendant in the men's bathroom. It was the weirdest restroom experience of my life. I can't understand why people go to this bar. There are so many better places around this...
