Here's my story: I had went to Lowes to pick up a submersible pump to get some water out of my basement. Took it home, didn't work, so I stopped by Do It Best in Waynedale to ask them if they might know what the issue was. Not only did Larry take the time to troubleshoot everything with me, but I could tell that he was invested in the outcome and truly wanted to help. I've never had that experience at a big box hardware store. They earned my business moving forward from that 1 experience. I ended up taking the pump back to Lowes, and purchasing a new one from Larry at Do It Best, and guess what - it worked like a charm. My Adjusting Table broke. A Fireman a came. We took the table apart, called the manufacturer who explained what we needed. Waynedale Hardware is 3 blocks away. We were not expecting them to have what we needed But they did and even took us to find all the materials. We didn’t have to buy boxes, just needed parts.
