I was excited to try Wings Etc after the remodel. It used to be one of my favorite spots in Waynedale. What an underwhelming experience. Prices increased for food that was dry and seemed to be cooked in an air fryer. The establishment was not busy at all yet, we were seated on the far side of the divider (1/2 wall) and nearly forgotten about. My husband had to get up to locate a staff member to request utensils. Also, very unimpressed with the layout of the place after the remodel. Removing the front entrance gives a less than welcoming vibe. There's a door to the far left for emergency exit which has an arrow pointing to the right saying Use Other Door. Very misleading since there isn't another door to the right. Instead, you must walk through the area designated as the drive thru to get to the back of the building to the only entrance. Speaking of drive thru. This is not a real drive thru. It's a pickup window. There's a difference. Order ahead and pick up at the window. Don't expect to order at a speaker and pull forward for food. The "drive thru" starts at the front of the building, with a sharp right and then a sharp left. Seems really odd to not just start on the side to enter. It's very risky to have cars drive toward your building. One slip of the foot and you're going to drive through the front of the building where customers are seated. Read moreFirst experience at WINGS Etc. and it will be my last. Waited 2 hrs 45 mins for our food. We inquired after an hour and then again an hour and a half and we were told "just few minutes". After 2 hrs, still no food and being upset I said "I don't care that others are waiting, I just care about my family. One parent already left to take his 2 children home. At this point the, a female, manager got in my personal space and aggressively accused me of yelling at her servers and said I should get out. 3 hrs later, when waitress brings the bill, several of us folks, (party of 14) asked for credit missing pretzels and compensation for waiting so long. She got the same manager (Courtney) who confronted us, saying "so what's going in here", with hostility, accusing us of yelling, saying " all I know I've got 5 servers upset back there" Again with the, you people not the only people had to wait, it was dead all day, had workers call in sick and all of a sudden the place filled up. Absolutely poor management team, especially Courtney, they left their servers high and dry. Not once they offer something to tide us over. And she should have personally coming out after 45 mins of delay and her knowing they still could not have our food ready, she could have given us the choice to wait...
Read moreThis experience was terrible and the manager (male) that spoke with was not helpful and very rude. Even after placing my order with him, he still got the order completely wrong. I paid over 85.00 worth of food and the Manager (male) never followed the instructions. I asked about the catering menu and he would not help me, he stated I would have to look for that menu somewhere. He then proceed to tell me to go online and order as if he didn’t I want to take an over the phone order. I asked questions and he act as if I was bothering him. I had a group Of kids hungry and ready for wing so I still placed the order. The customer service for a manager was not up to standard and very disappointing. will never be ordering from this location ever again. I thought he said his name was Aaron but unable to remember because I am so upset and disappointed. Lastly after telling him I need more wing that was less hot for kids he give me a full pan of the hottest wings. That very frustrating.
