25¢ Thrift — Local services in Fort Worth

I try to go faithfully and shop every week as they bring in new items. So it’s a hit & miss spot that I’d say. I use to love going until recently. They watch me the entire time as if I’m going to steal but it’s a bit much & so obvious when I go all the time there and look at every section of the store because customers definitely just put stuff anywhere. On two separate occasions a male associate walked outside and followed me I guess to see if I’m stealing. Another time a woman watched me on the cameras and she admitted it because I went back inside and told them they made an error in counting my clothings items. Beware that they ring you up for the correct amount because they do make errors in ringing up especially if you buy a lot. I even had customers steal items off my shopping cart to buy so if you shop here keep your cart with you at all times!!! Seriously. The workers are not friendly at all and some have horrible attitudes. I even asked to speak to the owner and to give my information as there was a sign stating vendors welcome. I’ve told them twice already and I’ve received no phone call from the owner. I hope the owner gets to see this review as it’ll be honest feedback for their business. We used to go shopping every week and spend $50 every time before the Pandemic (We know the staff by name & they know us. They Are Very Friendly!!) but they’ve increased prices 3 times, and the deals are Not As Good as they once were. I get it. We only go 2 times, twice a month now, because of the price increase. You can still find great deals every once in a blue moon because it’s Hit or Miss. I would say 30% of the time, I don’t find anything. I Enjoy The Hunt, and when I find something, I always Hit The Jackpot & stock up! Last week I found several great items that I bought instantly. You have to know what you’re looking for, but if you come expecting Several great deals, you’ll be disappointed. We always enjoy shopping here as the staff is very friendly. Ignore the reviews saying they are rude because they are not. I have met several rude customers. Again the deals can be found, but you have to be there at the right time and place. I used to make it my mission to go to this vendor 2-3x a month back in the day. I haven't been in a looong while (years) I was so excited to be in the area with my son so we stopped in to check it out. It's not the same for me. The beautiful chaos that was from all the estate sales is no longer. I bought my chef knife set and kitchen everything from there in the past. Found pedals for my hand mixers by rummaging through a bin with hundreds of them in it. That's no more it seems to focus more on food items, clothes, cleaning products, a few other categories, and hardware. The variety of pots pans utensils I did see and it's so organized made me think I was in a department store not a thrift shop.

So do I recommend you go check it out absolutely. It's just isn't for me anymore things change and we have to move forward yo know. Ps If your looking for wedding dress they have several hanging up from the ceiling...
