Expensive!

Unfortunately this is the only grocery store in Forest Hill. Last night I was highly disappointed in the closing staff. I realized I was running out of diapers for my baby so I made a quick stop before closing to get some. As I walked up to the door the security was holding the doors closed and only letting people out. I asked what was going on and was told by the old man bringing in the shopping carts that they were already closed. I asked why, he said because it’s closing time. I said it’s not even ten and he said yea but it’s only 10 min away. Keep in mind they were already refusing customers prior to this because I had already been told by a couple in the parking lot that they were closing early. I just didn’t believe them. I explained they shouldn’t be closing early if the store hours were clear and they still had customers coming in. As soon as he realized how upset I was the cart guy had the audacity to laugh in my face. Non of the staff cared. I’ve worked at a grocery store before and I know that’s not something they do. I wasn’t the only customer upset. I had to stop and let customers who were getting ready to come in and even they were aware of the store hours. I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding a recent incident at your store. Over a month ago, a shopping cart from your premises struck and damaged my vehicle. A witness even stayed behind to inform me of the incident, and I contacted the police to file an official report.

After weeks of trying to reach someone in leadership, I finally spoke with George from upper management. I was shocked and disheartened when he insinuated that my car was already damaged and that the cart could not have caused the harm — despite clear evidence and an eyewitness account. His dismissive and accusatory tone was not only disrespectful but deeply offensive, especially considering my integrity, morals, and values.

As a military service member, I am saddened to see Foodland treat its customers — and those who serve our country — with such disregard. The level of ignorance and lack of professionalism George displayed while in a leadership role is alarming and...

Foodland is in my area it is an okay store to hit when you are short on time it is closed you can find just about everything you need some things are very pricey but overall it's okay they have good greens collard greens mustard greens that's a good place to go to find ethnic food such as ham hocks oxtails pigtails pig feet that type of foods you can find there they're not big on rolls and things like that things that you can find at Walmart for about $2 you will find at Foodland for about three or four dollars so some things are okay and some things are not I give it a I read it at three and a half I wouldn't shut their everyday or every week good place to go they have a sale on cases of water you can get two...
