Tortilleria Super Sabrosa Mansfield — Restaurant in Fort Worth

I love some tacos! I grew up in this area and I remember this place being Beefer Burger. When we pulled up I was skeptical...just because you're Mexican doesn't mean you know how to cook Mexican food. I was surprised when I went inside. They had the chicharron and giant pork skins. I was like whaaaat??? The customer service was great! It was very clean and they have a very friendly and pretty staff. Being as though I don't speak enough Spanish to hold a conversation, I was happy that the young lady working the register could do more than smile and nod. I ordered lengua and barbacoa tacos...with the red and green sauce. I suggest the green if you can't handle heat. The lengua was delicious and came on the BIG flour tortillas. I loved it! This was my first time at this restaurant and one of the first few I have had since moving back to Texas after being away for 25 years. I had the taco lunch special which includes 3 tacos, your choice of meat, Mexican rice and beans. The tacos we excellent and properly served with two maiz tortillas each (which are made freshly in house and can be purchased in packages), lime wedges and onions and cilantro. These were very good (carnitas) tacos not American Tacos with lettuce and cheese etc. The only thing I would have liked was a charred Serrano pepper and cebollo Poco asada (little roasted onion) which I got from this incredible taco truck in Bear Delaware. My girlfriend had the breakfast of juevos con chorizo with beans and tortillas. She said it was good. She didn't share so I know she liked it lol! Excellent value also. They have really good flour tortillas and tortas. They have available Mexican candy and sodas, but I believe they need a bigger place and to hire more people. There’s room for customer service improvement. Today my mom wanted to buy chicharrones they didn’t even weighted the product and they were already charging her. They are always very busy and I understand it is hard sometimes to handle that many people, but I believe more employees would be a good option. Employees are really nice though 😁 Also one time I bought a pound of barbacoa and IT HAD SMALL PIECES OF BONES!!!! :O we had to throw it away cause we wanted to keep our teeth in their place, I believe it is very important that they are more careful due to it is a huge hazard for people buying...
