So May 8th I purchased this hair in advanced for a trip that I was taking. But when I purchased the hair their was 3 African American ladies behind the counter that pointed me in the direction to this hair I asked her was it actually human she told me yes because she had used it before and I also asked her could it be colored and would the curl pattern still be there she told me yes to both questions. So I proceeded to buy the hair just and I spent $160 on this hair!!! So on the 28th of may I placed some burgundy dye on the hair left it on for no longer than 20 minutes and once I rinsed it off the color came off as well and it turned hot pink as you can see in the pictures below and it became gummy started to shed and became very tangled!! So yesterday May 30th 2025 around 8:05pm I went back into the store to see what could be done about it I don’t know the guys name but he was an Asian man I explained the situation to him and completely tried to blame me for why the hair looked the way it looked. If you look at the top of the label it says UNPROCESSED 100% HUMAN HAIR. This man proceeds to tell me that the hair was over processed because in the factories they process the hair with lightener and then once color is applied it’s over processed. Once he said that I said sir but if you look at the top of the label it says unprocessed so that’s false advertisement. I’ve dyed human hair before and it has NEVER TURNED OUT LIKE THIS! So that means it’s not 100% human it has to be mixed! Then he tells me to leave my hair with him so that he can test the bundle to see if it messes up as well. So I asked home Now why would I do that just for you to switch the hair out. He told me that he couldn’t give me a refund or even replace the hair he told me that I could purchase some more hair at a discounted rate!! He didn’t even try to accommodate me or help me in any way after I spent $160!! This is so unprofessional in so many ways ! They need to be taught better customer service skills and learn how to treat people ! So now I’m out of...
Read moreI wish I could leave a negative 5 review but I can’t soo here it is. My experience at this establishment was so disappointing that I feel compelled to speak up. On March 21st 2025 my two girls and I entered the store around 8:45 PM, well before closing time. From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel unwelcome. Staff members began rushing us through the store, even though we were simply browsing and not causing any disruption. The security guard went as far as to joke to another customer that we were “trying to steal,” which is completely unacceptable and rooted in a harmful stereotype.
When I got to the register, I let my hair down a bit aggressively out of frustration—not directed at anyone, but because the guard had just told me to hurry up, which had never happened before in my many visits. The man who claimed to be the owner then accused me of “throwing things at him,” which was a complete exaggeration. Nothing fell, nothing was thrown, and it felt like he was looking for a reason to escalate the situation. Instead of de-escalating, he told me I was no longer welcome in the store.
This treatment felt racially charged, targeted, and completely unnecessary. It’s disappointing to be a paying customer, still inside the store during posted business hours, and be treated with such disrespect. If your staff is more concerned with clocking out exactly at 9 PM than providing basic customer service, perhaps you need a better management structure.
I’ve supported this store in the past, but I will no longer be giving them my business. And I encourage others to consider how they treat all of their customers—especially Black women—before spending...
Read moreCustomer service needs improvement, wanted to buy a wig went to wig section was never acknowledged. Needed some assistance barely could get that, the wig section looked a mess wig mannequins made me not even want to buy the overpriced low quality wigs anyway. Working a section like that with hair the young lady should of been trying to make the wigs look presentable and straighten up the mannequins and the nappy looking wigs they call human hair instead of sitting on the phone. I’m a Licensed cosmetologist and from the quality of the poor customer service to the mangled unbrushed over priced wigs I am appalled by the experience and if you want to keep losing good customers that actually pay and do not come to steal your stuff Jenny’s I pray you take this complaint into consideration. I wasn’t going to leave a bad review but after trying to talk to the manager to maybe get some decent service he made it no better and to tell me they don’t like to bother the customers the reason I got poor service in the wig area where the young lady just sat on the phone. I asked a couple of questions and she didn’t seem to be interested in assisting me. I have NEVER went to a hair store for hair in the hair section and not been greeted and asked if I needed help finding anything EVER! Jenny’s please improve your customer service in the wig department and a little training on how to care for the wigs on the mannequin and presentation will go a long way and make them look presentable when being viewed by customers especially us that are Licensed Professionals who count good quality products to buy to provide services at are salons. Please do better Jenny’s on...
