We have been going to this place for a few years... But. If you've heard why places like this marinate their meats the way they do is to hide the fact that the meat is going bad. We went to pick up some marinated wings yesterday and once we got home, the wings stunk so bad and one wing was rotten 🤢 I can't believe they have the guts to really do that to there customers. If you don't have to get marinated meats, please don't and if you do, check them before cooking.

I strolled into Carniceria El Paya one Saturday night, just an hour before closing, and let me tell you, the joint was buzzin' like a beehive at a honey convention. This place is as snug as a bug in a rug - small and cozy, like your favorite grandma's living room.

I waltzed in with a hankering for some uncooked seasoned Tablita. I mean, I heard the buzz, and I had to see what the fuss was about. Took that bad boy home, fired up the grill, and let me tell you, it was like a flavor explosion in my mouth. It was so good, I'm pretty sure it made my taste buds do a happy dance.

They will give you the oldest meat to get rid of it first, istead if trowing it out if it’s not fresh. Inclusive I have bought a bad chicken meat, and didn’t know until I was cooking at home. The next time I asked to speak with the manager/owner of the store. He didn’t even apologize neither listened when I said I got not twice but 3 times old meat from his store with a greenish color after I took it out of the freezer. After that I’m defiantly not going back to that or any of them stores. Very disappointed of the product and the owner response! I wish I could give...
