Taking advantage of people's money by charging people for a mask without letting them know they will be charged $2 instead of giving them the opportunity to go get a mask when ordering and they automatically added on to the bill when you pay after you eat.
Great food but they struck a nerve after eating here for all the time I did I went in there to get a bowl of pozole and a diet Coke which was $2.85 for a 20 oz Coke and $10 for the pozole and the bill was $16 and I was wondering why and they automatically put a charge of $2 on the bill because they offered me a mask and did not tell me they would be charging that it's not the money it's the principle that they need to tell customers or put a price up on their billboard for masks. Most stores do not require them now so I did not bring one but I had hundreds in the car with me. This is after the mandate was put to a halt where you have to wear a mask so soon as you sit down the mask came off so I had to wear that mask for a matter of 30 seconds and then sit down is covid playing tag when you're standing up he's there but when you sit down he's gone. That's not good business doing that to make a extra couple bucks if you are going to charge for the mask be reasonable but $2 for something that you get for free is not reasonable and then you do not let people know you are charging them for it until after they get their food and eat and go to pay...
Read moreStopped in Saturday for a pozole date - I’m always in search of a good bowl of pozole. Made sure to beat the crowd on Saturday morning and that we did. Arrived a little after 930 and were quickly greeted, order thanks then seated (which was out of order for me). I already knew I wanted pozole so didn’t need to look at the menu BUT if this is your first time or want to browse the menu, this can be a little much since it felt VERY RUSHED.
Naomi was our waitress and she was wonderful. Checked on us often and returned with our requests promptly.
Pozole was delicious! Loaded with tons of meat and the broth was bursting with flavor. There was a small container of salsa we each got and I figured it was for the chips…NOT - it was more of a chile de aceite and didn’t play! I like spicy so added it to the broth so I could sweat and get the sniffles. Haha.
All in all, delicious breakfast. Definitely recommend for a non peak time - as we were leaving it was PACKED!
Parking is a bit chaotic in this little shopping center but luckily there is a lot across the street specifically...
Read moreMy sister and I were craving posole and Las Fuentes did not disappoint. This was literally the most delicious posole I've ever had in my life. I crashed my car into a pole trying to get to this place and I'd do it all over again. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a family recipe that's been passed down generation after generation. We bought three orders of posole for two people and we almost finished it all because we could not stop eating it no matter how full we were. The horchata was amazing as well. Please try it for yourself. We will definitely be back.
Also, the workers were SO nice and sweet, helped me take my order out to my car and everything. This place is AUTHENTIC. Everyone knows the hallmark of an authentic Mexican restaurant uses plasticware, is tiny inside, and has four legged tables with tablecloths on them. You don't go for the experience, you go...
