So here is some honest feedback to help everyone understand why the reviews are were they are!!
So letâs start with the hostâŠ.. not very thrilled by her at all she was a bit snarky not very inviting to me and my guest. She lost me at the first moment she started begging for tips. She was worst then the churches that begs and passes a collection plate, literally it was extremely distasteful how she begged for the tips at every time she hit the center stage. Not to mention the pre-charge you for gratuities in the amount of $15.25 pp at booking per the cost of the show this is more that a 20% tip which definitely should be reconsidered and hereâs why.
âThe Dinnerâ it was cold all of it from appetizers to the main course, the salad and I am not exaggerating had 2 drops of dressing one drop to the left on 1 leaf and another drop on another. I had to ask for more and when I asked for more a manager or another server was sent as if asking to not eat leaves with no dressing was a problem. After she came then another person came to finally bring the dressing that too me over 25 mins to get. The servers didnât not serve well they didnât bring napkins, top water off or make sure the food was ok.
The show was nice minus the host the actors were definitely funny. The plot could have been better even after they broke it down it did not totally come together. I definitely feel that could be brought to make better since. However it was still fun and funny. Definitely I give the cast many props me and my guest laughed a number of times.
But for certain the host definitely gotta stop begging for tips especially when they are forcefully paid when buying tickets. And finally let the reviews come naturally instead offering gifts for reviews. The show was good mentioning it once is enough. Imagine going to a restaurant and your server constantly begging you to tip them well after already charging you gratuities. Yea if you canât tell that it...
Read moreVery bad experience and it was unfortunately not what I expected or hoped. The start time was 1 hour too early and thus, despite arriving exactly at the start of the recommended check in time, we were late and failed to receive any appetizers due to them running out. Additionally, the guest size was too large (over 100 people in the room) and thus, it made it very difficult to hear instructions. When we could hear them, the instructions were unfortunately very unclear and only half-way informative. They failed to give proper instructions for tasks they expected us to do. For as large a group as they had (having 100 people is a horrible idea for a murder mystery dinner), even a microphone over the small speakers they used to play music would have been helpful but instead you had to struggle to listen. Additionally, the clues and coordination with the plot was very convoluted and cumbersome. As for dinner, the food was VERY mediocre (we couldnât even finish our dry, unseasoned chicken breast). Also, they failed to accommodate for my dietary needs (dairy free) despite having confirmed with me a month in advance that they would be able to do so.
The ONLY positive was that a lot of the jokes were funny and the acting was pretty decent. All that being said, I will never be returning to this show or company on the future. 100% not worth the time,...
Read moreOk, so the show was fun, actors were great! I was laughing so much! The rest, not worth the price. The food was hard and cold. They ask you your allergies ahead of time, even put it on a ticket in front of your plate (but you also have no clue what you will be served other than protein). The servers straight up handed me my allergy on a plate. Unfortunately they didn't understand after much back and forth. I eventually just said ok, give me whatever (which I didn't eat except a bite of the veggies out of starvation, and was glad I didn't have to go to the hospital that night). My husband and everyone at the table was uncomfortable with the food. You are thirsty the whole time, they don't give you any water refills or anything. The bartender had a line and didn't know how to make drinks, he said it was his first time. Like litterally just poured like 3 shots in a glass and asked me if I wanted ice with it?? I mean, maybe being trashed helps it lol. The clues definitely don't make much sense. But, the overall show and actors are great. It's just the experience as a whole leaves you totally uncomfortable. And between the Groupon, the redemption fee online and all the tips, we spent over 250 bucks...
