Taco Bueno — Restaurant in Haslet

The food is good, as it is at all Taco Buenos. The service at this location is extremely slow, and it has been that way for a long time. I do not go often because of this but every time I go back I am reminded of it. It does not matter if they are busy or not, nothing is done in a timely manner.

Update: so I went back and gave it another shot and yup, it got worse. I went through the drive through and they took my order. Then when i pulled around to pay I paid and then they told me to pull into a parking spot and they would bring my food out. I asked what is going on because I saw the cars in front of me doing the same thing. The lady explained to me that they get in trouble if the orders stay on the screen long so they get them paid and close them out and then worry about making the food. So I got my card back and pulled forward and parked, next to 6 other cars. I waited roughly 11 minutes before my food was finally brought out.

All this location is doing is making the company Taco Bueno look bad and poorly managed. Do a quick search and you can see all the complaints and issues all over the place.

I have had enough and will not buy from Taco...

Only way I can figure this place stays open it it caters to 1 time customers or people have no where else to eat. For literally the last decade - yes 10 years - service has been substandard. Place an order in the lobby - literally wait an hour. I am not exaggerating when I say I had to wait an hour. I paid for it and when it came time to refund me when I asked, manager said they could do it after they were done but I had to wait. I said F it and waited for the food. Decided to give it another chance during Covid and there was a lady working the drive thru hacking up a ping handling food without gloves coughing in her hand. Didn’t even bother to wash her hands between handling money and the food. Then stupidly I decided to try it after this again. And was told “we are out of everything” then some chuckles.

Whoever is the GM should shut it down or fire everyone and rehire. Place is a joke. Because of this location I stopped eating at Taco Bueno.

This location is absolute garbage. They randomly close midday with no explanation and cannot get an order right. This evening my husband went through the drive thru and they repeated the order back to him correctly, then stated his total was going to be an excessive amount, given what he ordered. He asked why the total was so high, and then repeated his order back to the worker, who then said “oh, I added some stuff wrong. Sorry.” My husband waited an extended period of time to actually get the order and had to pull into the parking lot to wait even longer. They brought his order out and he left. When he got home, it was ALL wrong. We called, no one answered. He went back and the dining room doors are closed and no one even responded to him for several minutes via intercom, then stated they could only fulfill online orders due to the system being down. He explained the situation and they asked him to pull forward. He did, then waited another 6 minutes before anyone came to the window. This is...
