Max Karaoke Studio — Local services in Fountain Valley

In June of 2025, we had a great time hosting our daughter's birthday party here. Despite being more expensive than most places for a party of 20, the space was ample. Unfortunately, my wife wanted to host an event for her family, again, with 20 people, and the system has been completely changed. It was complex, lacked the quantity of songs, and anything loaded from the YouTube part of the app continuously stopped and lagged. We wasted a lot of time going back and forth to the administration to have them fix it. The AC unit was also not blowing, even though it was "on" and the room was uncomfortable hot, even though it wasn't when we were there in June. I love this place!

I can’t find any better place to do Karaoke. They have their Happy Hour daily from 1-8PM, weekends is $5/per hr, /per person which is still really good deal compared to Round 1 in Lakewood.

They do offer drinks and snacks or you can bring your own for a small fee.

Not really necessary when you got 85F right in front of it!

Anyway their song list is great, everything is operated on an iPad.

If you plan to do your karaoke here frequently I’d suggest getting their Stamp card and score a discount for being a loyal customer.

Staff is usually friendly! Don’t forget your ID , gonna need it to check out the equipment.

Not sure what else to add but definitely a cool place to stop by and plenty of good stuff to eat/snack before...

The good: sound quality and song selection were great. Nice that you can bring your own food and drinks ($1 for every person in your group, NO alcohol). Rates were decent, esp. before 8pm.

You can hear other people when you're in the hall, but inside the room it's just you and your friends

The bad: whole entry and hall smelled a bit like...pee? App on the iPad they give definitely had some bugs (skipped a song once, reorder behaves weirdly, and delete sometimes didn't work). Room was a little dingy but better than I thought given the hallway small.
