First I went in there and was helped by someone that was amazing, answered all my questions, took his time of day to show me what would be a good fit for me, when we found what I was going to purchase, it got so busy so he gave another worker my paperwork, now I can't even explain in words the degree of how rude he was and how uncomfortable this guy made me feel, he YELLED at me when I handed him my application and said "that's not how it works", I said What? That's what the other guy told me, he yells AGAIN "you're gonna have to take this, I can't do anything with it", assuming the reason im getting this uncalled treatment is because im a woman in a gun store, my dad starts walking up and his whole attitude changes and says "oh thats what you wanted?" With out me saying anything, he quickly jogs off and does the application process, 5 mins pass and next thing I know he's at the register, so I go up to him, told him I wanted layaway and he grunts and sighs out loud, like i couldnt believe how his lack of customer service is okay, he then walks away, again with no explanation and THANK GOD gave the first guy I was dealing with my paperwork, I told him how rude and uncomfortable he made me feel, he apologized and told me it was "lack of communication", I told him "ya, maybe on his part", I didn't wanna drag the guy that went above and beyond for us into it and be that person, so I didn't. All in all I'm glad there was actually one person in there that treated a human being as a human, and knew what respect was but nobody should ever be treated with so much disrespect and anger like that guy did, especially when you're a paying customer. I usually don't do reviews but felt like this is needed and that guy needs a few classes on...
Read moreI've held back on this comment for years but I'm still salty, I purchased a fire arm from here - accompanied by a friend at the time who had purchased at least 5 guns ranging in size and price from here.
Anyway, I was pulled over by state police for speeding when driving from AZ to Colorado for a wedding. Told them I have a firearm in the glove compartment when grabbing my info. They say ok and ask to run the serial number (I had never had this happen since it was my first time owning a gun and I didn't want to seem weird if I'm allowed to decline so I let them, I bought this for protection due to recent personal issues at the time.) They run the numbers and it comes back as STOLEN from Mesa PD in 1983 (or 1987, I don't remember bc this incident was over 5 years ago). They let me go and say they don't think I stole it because I wasn't born at the time. So either AJI sold me a stolen gun (which makes sense bc I was originally looking for a glock 19 which I had shot and loved and the sales Associate kept pointing me to this Bersa Thunder because it was smaller so it would fit my body better, already had a laser sight, and was a copy of one used in a James bond film, and was cheaper than the glock I was looking at) HMMMM. Or the three state patrol officers were lying to me, or the serial number was reused because someone told me that is a possibility? Or AJI sold me a stolen gun bahah. Do you know what it's like to be pulled over with 3 police interceptors parked behind you crossing state lines?
I held off on this comment for years, but I will never forget this awful experience. I haven't bought a gun since, but I want to...
