Very flat trail of packed sand and small gravel. Very long trail out and back which is great because you can pick your own distance. Runs right along the river so it's somewhat scenic. Would have been especially beautiful a few weeks ago when all of the trees were sporting autumn colors. Good for Walkers and joggers of all ages.

I like the parking area because it feels secure. There is frequently a police officer stationed there to keep an eye on things. The area is clean and many people enjoy walking, jogging, horseback riding, cycling, and even picnicking in the area.

Unpaved parking lot for trail access. No services, restrooms, or water, so come prepared. The trail itself is paved and well maintained. The steel barriers you see along the trail are meant to catch debris when the river is running high.

Enjoyable, lovely place, especially in the fall with yellow coming out in the leaves of the cottonwood trees. Awesome place to bicycle. My in-laws like to get family photos done in the Bosque near here. Give it 4 stars because this parking lot has a reputation for vandalism, though all parking lots in ABQ have that risk (I personally have never been vandalized here...in my 4years of living in ABQ the only vandalism I have experienced was having my car license plate stolen). Don't leave anything...

I've been coming here for my morning run the past week. Nice and quiet, light traffic before 7 am. Leaving and turning left out of the park during rush hour can get pretty difficult, so I'd turn right and do a u-turn or get here outside of rush hours. There's restrooms, trash cans, and a dog bag station. Please clean up after yourself and your pets. If you're environmentally friendly try Biobag pet waste bags....

It is a great spot to easily park and get on the path. You can walk, jog, run, bike for ages. It's a pretty flat path, so it makes for a peaceful time. The Bacechi Space is right there too. It has a great bird watching area, a great walking path in and out of trees with lots of spots to sit and meditate on the nature that surrounds you. Highly recommend...
