Bach's Greenhouse Cactus Nursery — Local services in Four Corners States

I was heading elsewhere when I accidentally turned too soon and found myself at the driveway entrance of Bach"s. Having never been here, it peaked my interest, so I took the short drive in. You know that feeling of being in awe when you see something impressive? That's how I felt. Before I arrived at the greenhouses, I first drove past an incredible oasis garden full of all sorts of desert plants, cacti, and petrified wood "boulders". How could I have missed this place all these years? There's not a big area for parking, but luckily I was able to find a spot. I walked up to the main greenhouse warehouse (it was huge! and I believe there are 5 of these) and was greeted with a friendly "Hi. Welcome. How can I help you". After getting a brief, but very informative rundown of what Bach's was all about, I was left to browse and take in the hundreds of varieties of unique succulents, cacti, and beautiful Talevera pottery. The prices were very reasonable. After about an hour into my "detour", I left with a couple of flowering succulents, and a pretty Talevera pot that the staff kindly potted one of my plants in. Will definitely be back! Best...

Met the owner Dan, sorry we missed meeting Diana. Everyone that we met or spoke with was very friendly, and very knowledgeable. We are starting to plan our back yard adventure! Dan was so wonderful in sharing his ideas and how it has to be about our yard not the designer and we should pick out plants that we like, but also shared that we need to make sure it’s a right fit for our climate, he steered us toward his very wonderful and very knowledgeable staff. Even shared his rock placement.(Aka box) love it. We also had a chance to meet the very knowledgeable and Co Arthur ,Rob Romero, of the Field Guide to Cacti& other Succulents of Arizona. We had a wonderful time walking through this beautiful Bach’s cacti nursery. Can’t wait to start to pick out my new back yard. See you all soon....

I came because of the reviews and I stayed as a believer. The prices are reasonable and the service I received set the bar high for ANY retail experience that I've had. The person that helped me was Chris. A recent graduate of UofA and a master in his studies to say the least. I could point to any cactus and he'd immediately tell me what family, species and genus. Any questions on care or environment were met with a prompt answer and detailed explanation. He's passionate about plants and service. I'm a able and grown man and not used to the level of help he provided. I doubt I will ever receive such level of service ever again. Great place to get cactus; I'd go nowhere else.
