I love shopping their front selection of beauty products, and have now tried a couple different services (but coming back for more soon!). Recently, I went in to try a wax and eyebrow tint with Vanessa. She is absolutely lovely, and did a fantastic job of grooming my brows to my specifications. The following week I made an appointment with Brittney to try sugaring. Per their website, sugaring is "Body sugaring is an ancient Egyptian method of hair removal using a 100% natural paste of sugar, lemon and water. No resins, No chemicals, no dyes. It's is water soluble, will never adhere to live skin cells, and will not burn skin as it's applied at room temperature and, removes hair in direction of natural growth". Definitely a much more pleasant experience than waxing, and the process afterwards has been a breeze. No healing period, or irritation, and slow re-growth.

I heard about Beauty Republic from an Instagram ad, and I went in yesterday for my first ever dermaplane and microneedling session. This place is absolutely amazing! I saw Marissa, and she is so kind and knowledgeable about the procedures and how to care for your skin. One thing I REALLY appreciate is that they send you home with product samples based on your skin type and what you are trying to work on and they do not put even an ounce of pressure on you to purchase products. I have struggled with dark marks and post cystic acne marks from hormones and pregnancy. I have also just had several moles on my face removed due to skin cancer as well as cosmetic reasons.
