While on vacation I was traveling with my wife from white sands national park towards Albuquerque. Accidentally took the wrong exit and ended up at the base security gate. It was not possible to turn around our car because of concrete barriers. Security instead of turning us around took our passports and questioned us random questions for more than an hour. Then a special agent came to us and asked the same questions again. What's your eye color, what's your height/weight, do you have any tattoos, what do you work for what do you know about New Mexico etc. After that he searched our car and was very curious why we have so much aspirin (2 bottles) and said that our story makes no sense to him because we know so little about New Mexico. Finally he took our photos like mugshots front and sides. After all this terror they gave our documents back and let us turn around and continue our vacation journey.
