Preface before reading ; I love this gym so much. I look forwarded to it in my day. I love the sauna. Itās the staff that keeps ruining it for me.
I come to this gym at four or five days a week and do basically the same thing every night. I take my shoes off when I do yoga on a mat (and only yoga). I donāt go anywhere else. I didnāt realize that was a rule, and it wonāt happen again.Iāve done this for almost a year. That was my mistake. Today, I was rudely told in the womanās room BY THE MAN WORKING āSOMEONES BUSTED.ā I think he was trying to be funny but it wasnāt. It was anxiety inducing, he came out of his way to do it, interrupted my YOGA (so now Iām not in the headspace to continue on my mat, Iām actually writing this near tears in the room), and did it in front of everyone in the womanās room. I usually come late at night but luckily the ladies were regulars. I literally stopped my workout and went home. Iāll probably only use the one located in Orlando now until my membership runs out, then consider other options. It sucks because the facility itās self is beautiful and I LOVE the sauna. There is a really nice woman that cleans and sheās never said anything to me, because I only take my shoes off for YOGA on a mat. I just found his behavior so demeaning⦠it felt like a man on a power trip. There were three boys sitting on machines in the main area on their phones just sitting, nothing said to them, but heaven forbid bother me. The weights are also incorrect in the womanās room and Iām constantly fixing them and reshelving others weights⦠but nope. Yell at me. He could have come right over to me directly and spoke to me rather than shouting across the womanās room.
Previous Review, I did end up finding my stuff ransacked in a locker days later, so there is that. Iāve used CF fitness at least four days a week since we moved into our new house. Today I went to shower after my workout, leaving a dirty old tote bag of mine in my locker. It had a phone charger, lotion, my work belt, etc in the bag. I come back to my locked locker after my shower and my work bag is gone. Luckily nothing super valuable but sentiment as I loved the quote, and having to pay for a charger out of pocket⦠they really should give me a free month after having an item stolen cutting into my finances. The employees were not sympathetic and even asked if I checked the right locker (I did as my keys were at the bottom). Iām so disappointed and will never bring anything to the gym...

While the gym itself has decent equipment and facilities, the negative and disrespectful attitude displayed by some of front desk staff has left a lasting negative impression on my overall experience.
First, I would like to address the issue of towels. It is a basic necessity for gym-goers to have access to clean towels. However, with some front desk members, I requested a towel from the front desk, I was met with rude and dismissive behavior. The staff members seemed inconvenienced by my simple request, and their lack of willingness to assist was evident. It is disheartening to be treated with such disregard, as if my request for a towel was unreasonable or unworthy of their attention.
Also, the front desk staff's indifference extends beyond towels. On multiple occasions, I attempted to order protein shakes at the gym's designated counter. However, instead of providing assistance or taking my order, the staff members would ignore me as if I was invisible. It is incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful to pretend not to see a customer who is seeking help or attempting to make a purchase. This kind of behavior creates a hostile environment and reflects poorly on the overall customer service culture of the gym.
While the gym itself boasts a range of decent equipment, it is clear that the management has failed to instill a sense of professionalism and respect in its staff. The negative and dismissive attitudes displayed by the front desk personnel not only tarnish the reputation of the gym but also create an unwelcoming and uncomfortable experience for its members.
As a paying customer, I expect to be treated with respect and courtesy when seeking assistance or making simple requests. Regrettably, I have not received this level of service. I sincerely hope that the management team takes immediate action to address these concerns and improve the customer service standards of the gym.
While the gym's equipment may be decent, the negative and disrespectful attitudes of some front desk staff have significantly impacted my overall experience . I stressed to them how odd and uncomfortable it was that someone took my keys from the machine I was actively using and I was brushed aside. And then a few weeks later I was followed from the gym to the grocery store (which I know is out of their control) but if they cared more about their members and they didnāt dismiss me before, then I would have felt comfortable sharing that someone was once again making me uncomfortable in the gym. They focus too much on menās tank tops and you picking up your phone for two seconds, but donāt care about teenagers swinging around on the equipment, womenās safety, and being inclusive. Iām adding the inclusion part because when my girlfriend reached out and told them these issues, the email started with āI donāt know who to address this to because it says itās coming from (my girlfriends name), but it sounds like itās coming from their boyfriendā when she stated IN THE EMAIL that her GIRLFRIEND was having these issues. He then wants to claim that they bent over backwards to help us when all they did was dismiss us, laugh it off when I mentioned my car keys and tell me āitās just this crowd theyāre weird.ā The owner wants to state that heās been in customer service for 40 years and ācanāt be everything to everyoneā but all Iām asking for is for them to be kind, understanding, not aggressive to their members (that means everyone, no matter their race, sexuality, and what language they speak.)
Go back and read all of his responses, being rude and also making negative statements about people who, English isnāt their first language. The multiple comments about them targeting a black man and his attire but not the white men wearing the same thing? Pattern of behavior that we have personally experienced.
Anyways, go to this gym if you want, we immediately quit when we were hit with that opening email statement. More...
