The woman I ordered from was very friendly and helpful, answering questions and helping me choose what to order. Her associate (who I think was new, because the first woman was showing her how to do a few things, so maybe she was just anxious) was a bit rude. When the first woman was in the kitchen and there was no line, I asked the younger associate about the different types of bagels. She seemed annoyed by my question and acted like I was dumb for asking. Again, maybe she was just stressed and trying to get her bearings and didn't want to be bothered by something non-essential. She didn't snap at me or call me names or anything, so it wasn't that big a deal. The food was very much a mixed bag. The lox was AMAZING. So good. That perfect smoky flavor. Perfect. Could not have been better. The egg whites were good, very well cooked, seasoned very subtly, so they complimented the lox. The potatoes (which took up way too much of the plate. The menu said served with potatoes, but I really got a plate of potatoes with everything else on the side.) were undercooked. Way undercooked. Crunchy. It wasn't a matter of personal preference. If they were any less cooked, they would have been raw. They were a little busy (breakfast rush) so I understand the hurry, but the potatoes were, again, most of the plate, so them being so underdone was really noticeable. The bagel itself was a great flavor. I forgot to ask for it toasted, but that's on me, lol. I think the price was a good deal, although, I really would have liked more eggs and onions versus potatoes (salmon is expensive, so I think they portion that pretty strictly, which I understand, but eggs are cheap, ya know? And onions are extremely cheap), which again, were most of what I got. Since the flavor of everything was good, I might go back again and try this place a second time. I'm not in a hurry to go back, but I'm not...
Read moreI've been there 2x and that was enough for me. You walk in You get no good morning, no smiles, everyone is in their own world and looking miserable. I asked for a bagel with cream cheese and an omelette inside the bagel. They said No they can't do that. They offered me a combo. A bagel, homefries, and an egg, any which way I want it. So I said okay, can you make that an omelette and put in the bagel. They said "No"! I couldn't make this stuff up. So I said okay make my egg an omelette. They said "would you like cheese? I said "No", assuming they meant cheese in the omelette. I got a plain cold bagel, homefries that had been cooked in old Oil, and No type of cheese. No cream cheese, no American cheese, No cheese period! I was so upset when I got to work I threw it away. A few weeks later my husband wanted to try them. I told him not to. Well he got the same experience if not worst. Cold bagel, homefries that tasted like fridgerator. And an uncooked egg. By the way the guy in the kitchen doesn't tie his hair back. They take care of the registers and grab bagels at the same time. No hand washing! I did see one girl put gloves on, but didn't wash her hands before putting them on. This establishment won't be around for long with that behavior and lack of...
Read moreThe service is a 1, super slow, not a lot of “service with a smile.” I felt like I was an annoyance rather than a paying customer and I don’t think any business in the service industry should generate that vibe. We arrived around 11 am and they were sold out of a lot of their stock. We ordered the Western omelette with an everything bagel and cream cheese and a sesame bagel toasted with cream cheese. It took about 20 minutes to get to be able to order and another 20 to get our food. The vegetables were fresh and the omelette was a 3.5. The potatoes were not good. The sesame bagel was great but the everything bagel had no flavor. It was just a lump of dough. The outside seating area is very nice. They were the closest to New York bagels that I have had since moving to Florida but seriously if the service doesn’t improve I would find it hard to give them more of my money. Tip: they do a big business with Door Dash and the did delivery so you may want to use them or call in your order or order online to save...
