Sammy’s Sweets — Restaurant in Four Corners

We previously spotted this ice cream shop when traveling on Hwy. 27 and have been waiting for it to open to check it out. This evening we did just that and we were pleasantly surprised. They let you sample the flavors to find just the right one for you. I tried the tres leche and coconut flavors and they were both smooth, creamy and delicious. The coconut ice cream has coconut flakes in it which gives it texture. My husband had the cookies and cream flavor and he said it was creamy while having lots of cookies pieces and a wonderful flavor. The staff were super friendly and helpful. My family and I came down from Pennsylvania in a group of 19, and we absolutely loved it here! The food was incredible — you cannot find Dubai chocolate like this in PA. The ice cream, milkshakes, crepes, Dubai strawberry cup, and frescos con crema were all to die for. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.

The owner was absolutely very nice and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The service was warm, and the atmosphere was fun and inviting.
