Been a customer since 2017, back when the store was a honor system with a couple of coolers with Milk, eggs, butter and some meats, and owner would meet with you to talk to you about RAW milk consumption and process.
Sadly, after just shy of a decade in coming here, I will be taking my business to new pastures. Prices here have just gotten quite a bit high and I can't reasonably make the trip for what is now the most expensive Half Gallon/Gallon of Raw Milk in Mass at $9/$15, when they used to be the most affordable at $4.25/$8.50. The price of Raw milk was $5.50 not even 2 years ago. Organ meat prices got even more ridiculous pushing $12/lb when people would have to ask them to save them just to get them in stock.
The store has grown and changed a bunch over the last decade, the good being a lot of variety now, upgraded facilities, easier transactions, and more inventory. The bad being because they are offering more product of a wider variety, it's a lot of extra expense driving up their prices. Too much overhead in that little shop it seems like to me.
All of this is clearly going towards rebuilding their farm and keeping up with demand, and businesses need to grow, so I understand, but given how much things have changed, I'm forced to look elsewhere. I think they moved to far from what made them special, but this is just one man's opinion, take it for what you will.

Read moreThe ribeye is incredible. There’s no gamey beefeness and feels very digestible. I don’t feel weighed down or lethargic after eating a full pound of steak. If you love beef or have a special occasion, please do buy a steak from here and support them. The only downside is I wish I bought more!!!
The steaks make great gifts as well.
They also have plenty of other options from venison, ground duck, duck breasts, veal, veal sausages, pork, bison tallow, etc.
I was also nervous to try the raw milk but to my surprise I was fine and it was very creamy and not as sugary is store milk, which is very very nice.
Good quality market and the attendant will happily answer all your questions without pressuring you to buy anything :).
I’m not sure what the negative reviews are about, they are a small farm doing their best. Imagine how many steaks you’ve gotten from the store that were sick cows, or had removed abscesses but you’d never know… don’t judge them off one or two reviews. Go to the store yourself to make your own judgement, you will be pleasantly surprised.

Read moreNice little family farm shop right by the side of the road. There are orientations for new customers for raw milk which you order through email or call by 2:00 pm the day beforehand. This ensures that they won't waste any milk, they sell raw grass fed milk by the way which is great and has a lot of benefits! Their prices are pretty reasonable when it comes to support the farm and other local farmers. They sell a variety of other items like eggs, meats, sausages, cheeses, coffee, and maple syrup. They have a great variety of meats, even bones and organs which are great if you want to get some important nutrients. All humane and raised with care. The shop is pretty small with tables, freezers, and refrigerators everywhere . their way of business is pretty straightforward. And it's a self checkout where you calculate the price of all that you bought and put the cash in the register, get your change and you're good! I would recommend! They're friendly and I got a pretty nice sense of nostalgia when shopping there! Support...
