Body ART Studio 13 — Local services in Framingham

I have never gotten a tattoo before, and I was admittedly somewhat intimidated of the prospect. I did a ton of research before making my decision, yet Body Art Studio 13 just as a community mollified all my suspicions and provied just how comfortable getting a tattoo can actually be. All the staff I met were extremely friendly and patient (especially their awesome dog Captain!) and were very excited about customers getting their first job done. I was treated very well and brought into a surprisingly cozy and open environment, a large TV being a very useful distraction as I adjusted to my first time with the needles. But between the TV and the friendly chatter, the pain slowly became irrelevant and easy to ignore, my session basically becoming a fun two-hour hangout ending with an awesome tattoo as a memory. I gave them my own design and was not only honored by how many wanted to take up the task, but also how they handled my own emblem with immense respect, taking the time to refine its course edges for a sharper result. At the end of my session, they also gave me vivid instructions with how to care for my tattoo as it healed, and so far, I'm extremely pleased with the results and looking forward to showing it off in its full glory when fully cured. I met this artist by chance, and have loved every piece I've gotten from her since. First, the space itself is awesome. I love the interior, it's very welcoming and spacious. But Amanda's station itself is incredibly inviting. It reflects her personality and is just a chill place to be. Amanda herself is very welcoming to everyone and has a very bubbly personality, she will work with you to cater your design as you want it and really dedicates her time to making sure you're getting what you want. I've gotten two medium sized pieces from her and three flash so far, and couldn't be more thrilled with the work I received. She's been very open and honest with me about what will or won't work, placements and been amenable when I change my colors last minute. Shes been very knowledgable about various types of aftercare, and has helped when i have questions, even when they're slightly silly. And I don't know if this will be as much of a perk as I think it is, but in an environmemt most people think of as a male dominated world, she really does a great job at at creating a safe space for women and making all feel welcome. I highly recommend giving this artist a chance.

LOVED IT! I recommend this place to anyone that wants to get a tattoo. My experience was the best and believe me I was VERY NERVOUS. One day I walked in with my daughter who wanted a tattoo and to ask a few questions for myself such as what I should expect if I wanted to go forward with a tattoo. I was asked to call back and to set up a consultation with Tony. I did his assistant was so easygoing and sweet. We made an appointment but with some work/family conflicts I had to reschedule and I loved how we confirmed by text message. As a busy person that worked out great. Had my consultation and I was very nervous (first tattoo nerves) and my tattoo wasn't just because I wanted something, it's a very personal piece and dedicated to someone that won't be here much longer, so believe me ... having this be perfect was essential ... Tony eased my nervous, he was kind, caring and reassured me that it would all be OK… So I went ahead with it, and I'm ecstatic with it, I love looking at and how perfect it is and what it means to me.
