I bought their "plan". One pays around $200 for a year's worth of being able to bring in the computer and get it cleaned up from viruses and get it restored to smooth running . I also, at their recommendation bought a virus protection program.

Not only did the virus protection not protect my computer, but when I brought it in to get fixed they said that they couldn't do it without some outside software. During the time I went to look for the necessary software, I left my computer there. Somehow, they managed to get the fix they needed about three weeks after I dropped it off. Coincidentally, this was two days after my contract had run out. They praised themselves to the moon, and then said that they wouldn't give me back the fixed computer unless I bought another year-long contract from them. When I said that I wouldn't pay it, they put my computer back in its broken state to return it to me. They never called me to say that they had found a fix but that it would cost additional, they never asked for permission to spend more of my money, They were sure to tell me how wonderful they are and how they weren't "going to argue with me."

They are arrogant and imperious, and if I'm going to have to pay someone to fix my computer, I'd rather it be at some place where honesty and forthrightness are important. You can bring your computer here, but I don't know...

My Apple Mac computer crashed, as well as my two back up external drives. An Apple technician was able to do an information download to a new computer, but it was incomprehensible to me, with nothing formatted in a way I was able to understand. Fortunately, my bookkeeper recommended PC Healthstop, which he uses. Peg and Freddy listened to me, understood my problems and needs, and worked efficiently and quickly to restore my computer. I had great service and I am thrilled with the company. They did an excellent job in restoring my information in a way that I could understand and they were able to get the backup information off the two external drives. They also set up a new external drive with all my information from the computer. They worked with me for an hour to help me understand the computer and they made adjustments so that I was comfortable using it. Having been in the Criminal Justice Field, I was very hesitant to turn over my computer to anyone, but having no choice, I researched local computer repair businesses. When meeting Peg and Freddie, they spelled out clearly what they would do and costs, including the possibility of needing a new computer.. Within 2 days, they informed me that all my files were intact, and they could repair any damage done. When picking up the computer, Freddie sat with me for 1.5 hours explaining everything, including better ways to use my machine.
