I've been in the market for an office chair, potentially 4 to fill out a home office space for myself and 3 others. Local office liquidation businesses in my area offer 1-5 year warranties, as well as the promise to match item prices to that of a competitors if the price is lower (whether buying in low or high quantities). I sent a message to Peachtree Office Furniture simply asking if they offered those same promises. No response. I called the office and explained the situation, and was laughed at, and was then treated as if I was asking a crazy question. Whoever answered explained that they don't really care about small scale purchases, that what they mainly do is commercial work, that they're not a retailer, that they only ship very locally. I wonder then, why include the ability to get a quote for as low as 1-4 units on their site? Why act as though anything I was saying was crazy, even though all of these questions came from the fact that businesses near me explicitly listed those same things on their site?
