Sara's was from start to finish a complete joy to work with for our son's Bar Mitzvah. During our initial conversation with Alana, it was immediately apparent that they had significant event (including B'Mitzvah) experience, were very familiar with our venue (Sanctuary in Maynard), and would be flexible and do everything they could to make our event exactly as we wanted. Under Sara's guidance, we ended up with a menu that all our guests loved, including among many other delicacies a Chinese food station with dumplings & satay. Their staff on the day of the event were efficient, friendly, and completely in control of the timing. And they were well prepared with to-go packaging for the extra food (the result of a few cancelled attendees). On top of this, Alana referred us to a friend for our cake who delivered a stylish, on-theme, and tasty 3 tiered masterpiece! We would love the opportunity to work with Sara's again and recommend them...

My wife, my mother-in-law, and I recently hired Sara’s Catering for our 25-person wedding. The wedding was located in one of our houses. Sara’s team was extremely thoughtful, professional, and kind throughout the planning process and during the actual wedding. When we met for the site visit it was clear that they are very experienced and knowledgeable about how to design and run an event like this. They can walk into a room for the first time and have an impeccable vision for how things should go. They are very accommodating when it comes to the dietary restrictions and even timing constraints of the event. I appreciated their honesty when telling us what made sense and what didn’t. On the day of the wedding they were smooth, on time, and the food was very tasty (my favorite was the salmon!). They took great care of the guests and of the space itself. 100% do NOT recommend. At least she is not threatening to sue me because she doesn't like my reviews but I still have yet to receive a refund despite not getting anything that I ordered. I was going to take her to small claims court but the time off work is simply not worth it for a few hundred dollars. Still, I will continue to warn about her lack of professionalism, inability to follow through on orders (at least in regards to my order) and resorting and aggressiveness instead of making the situation right. I will, however, acknowledge that she gave a partial refund (less than half the total purchase price) and did not get one single item we ordered right...as in, she supplied all the...
