So many great finds! Oh my Goodness I have found my new treasure for finding great deals. The owner, Marty is easy to negotiate with and fair. I had 2 trips in the same afternoon and the first was about 8 items. He was fair with the per item price and I was pleased. I placed those in my car and realized there were carts. I grabbed my breakables blanket to lay inside the cart and got to browsing. It's a large store, 2 rooms And plenty to look at. Everything is for sale from the smallest pen set to the table everything is displayed on. I witnessed an employee rearrange glassware twice when the dining tables they were on were sold to a man and a woman with her mother. Marty knew where everything was when they asked. My second trip yielded around 17 items. I was estimating in my head he'd probably go with $5 an item since I had s silver set and crystal candy dish and Id counter around $2 to get a health bargin... He looked through it all and did even better than my anticipation. I was extremely happy. He explained The more items you buy the better the prices he can offer. This is an estate sale store front. Don't quote me but, I understood it as, Marty and his team handle estate sales and then offer to remove all the unsold items for a fee. Those items come to this store location and are up for sale set up as they come in. There was so much to look at and very little of it was damaged or junky looking. I'd say 98% was clean, unbroken, household items. I was so comfortable after talking to Marty to offer his information up to a friend looking for an estate sale company.
I highly recommend taking a stroll through Marty's store. If you walk out empty handed I'd be amazed. I will say don't be turned off by the lack of organization. This is not a place with a wall of glasses and a wall of books and an area of all plates all sorted and organized.
It's more by the house that was cleaned out. So it's a little hogde-podge.
Look past that and get Shopping.
This is a resellers goldmine! Buy, buy, buy and...
Read moreStore posted pics of comics on Facebook and I called wouldn’t give pricing over phone. Drove an hour to store comics were severely over priced. After taking some out of bag noticed many were soiled or had stains or were in mid grade condition. I showed owners pricing apps and eBay sold listings and at 1st we’re genuinely happy to hear the information I provided. I had a stack of books I was interested in I made an offer based on condition and current sales and they went back to their inflated pricing. I said this could have been avoided if you answered my question about pricing when I called and they told me they like to get people in the door cause they might buy something else. Never called me back about my close to $200 offer on comics and asked me to not leave a negative review. They can sell anything for what they want too, but don’t waste customers time and gas coming to your newly opened establishment if you have no idea how to price what your selling. Or be honest about pricing when people call. If you would have told me prices over phone I would have scoffed and not wasted my time. But they want you to visit store. Not how you do...
Read moreVery shady store. This store posted an item online for a certain price and when I arrived to purchase the item she decided to change the price to almost 3X the price. When I asked why, she informed me she had to post some kind of dollar amount just to get people in the store. Needless to say I did not purchase this item. I did not call 2 weeks ago. I searched for coin sorter on Facebook marketplace and your listing came up with a picture of a coin sorter on your shelf with $5 listed in the price. There was no clarification on your listing that the item may be more once in the store. When I arrived and asked you, you said "well I have to put some price on...
