Los 2 Amigos Bakery — Restaurant in Frankfort Square

So happy this bakery opened in the south suburbs — we never have places like this in our area. Everything I picked up was fresh and tasted just like the bakeries in the city. I tried a little bit of everything and the mantecadas were honestly one of the best I’ve ever had.

It’s really nice to finally have an authentic Mexican bakery close to home instead of having to drive into Chicago. I’m hoping they add more items as they grow — maybe even tres leches or specialty cakes in the future — but for now, everything was delicious with zero complaints.

I just saw this place today for the first time and I really am glad they moved in. Between meeting all the different layers of the family and watching them hand make all of this it was really great. I tried many different things and they were all fabulous. Light flaky delicious. And their prices are fabulous. I can't wait to buy some of this Wonderful to bring into the Monday morning office meeting!!...
