Hi, I’m Cathy Jennings, and I’m so excited to share how Affirm Pilates came to life!

About a year ago, I joined an online "Life Coaching" group where one of the challenges was to step out of your comfort zone and try something new. For me, that something was Reformer Pilates. I had taught Mat Pilates and other fitness programs, but I had never experienced Reformer Pilates. So, I mustered up the courage, attended my first class (alone—no one else could join me!), and immediately fell in love.

But then came the reality check: the drive, the expense (over $130/month for one class!), and the fuel costs. It was clear I needed a more sustainable solution. That’s when the idea hit me—I want to bring Reformer Pilates to Frankfort!

Fast forward to March of this year, and I took the leap to train and earn my first Reformer Pilates certification. I began teaching one-on-one sessions at Fit Time for Women in Frankfort, where I quickly became fully booked! As much as I loved getting started there, I realized I needed more space to grow.

When the opportunity arose to move my practice to Elite Fitness, I couldn’t pass it up! And on November 1st, I opened the doors to Affirm Pilates. 🎉

I’m beyond excited for the next chapter of this journey, and I can't wait to help others discover the incredible benefits of Reformer Pilates. If you’ve ever wanted to try Pilates (just like I did), I’d love the chance to show you how amazing this form of exercise is!

I have been going to Elite in Frankfort for many years. I watch the business news while exercising because I trade stocks. I have been going there there before Elite bought i (10+ years). I never have any problem with the other customers. Wednesday, I was told the owner banned watching the news because, "The outside world doesn't belong in here." Even if the employee was telling the truth, this makes no sense. What does it even mean? I am part of the outside world. I guess I don't belong either. I cancelled my membership. I didn't need to pay because I have Silver Sneakers, but I wanted the gym to stay open. I worried it would close because there's usually a thin crowd in attendance. I guess some liberals complained about someone watching FOX News and the owner is a liberal too. The TVs don't even have sound without APP Audio. Can't the liberals look at something else? Don't spend your money at businesses...

When I entered the place it was clean however no one greeted me as I stood there looking around finally this unfriendly person comes out of the office. He briefly and I mean briefly told me some what of the facilities and someone else came in and he no longer had interest in me. Not good business never went back. No one should be treated this way. So I went to planet fitness, much better...
