Third time in 2 weeks that they have shut the ice cream machine down 3 hours or more before time to close. The first 2 times I didn't place an order. Tonight I did. We ordered 2 meals. As we pull away we realized I didn't receive my order of tater tots, a fork for my buffalo chicken,and the onion rings we received were well beyond burnt. I asked the young man before we drove off if we could please have some ranch for our chicken and onion rings. He gave me one... So upon discovering all this we turned around and went back around to the drive-thru again. Well the car that had been in front of us before was already back to the window as well so apparently something was missed who knows. When I get to the window I tell the guy how we didn't get the tots or the fork and that we hated to complain but yes those onion rings were indeed beyond overcooked. He didn't asks us so what you want lightly cooked ones? I told him just not overcooked. When he brought us the fresh onion rings and my tots back to the window I proceeded to ask him if I could get another ranch and he hatefully said well ranch is $0.53 a piece. I wasn't really worried about the $0.53 it was how it was said and the fact that it had already cost me way more than $0.53 and fuel to turn around and come back and sit through the line for a second time to get my correct order. I've been a regular customer at this place for a really long time. Lately however, the quality of food and service together, has greatly declined....
Read moreSpent $48 for six people here. Got change for a $10. The carhop got mad at me for taking to long to count out her tip. I reduced it to $5 from the $8 or $9 I was planning to give her. Oh well, I just chalked it up to being a teenager. So after supper we all wanted the custard that is new on the menu. I asked for a small sample because I had not been fond of Sonic's previous ice cream/shakes selection. I was told that Sonic doesn't provide samples. I said I can understand that. I just hated to spend another $25-$30 bucks on something I had previously not enjoyed. They apologised and said no samples. The person I was communicating with was the same teenager. She was not rude, but she was clearly exasperated and only wanted to be done with me. Since when do businesses care so little about the people who are trying to spend money with them?
Price-great, food-great, and we love their burgers. 5 stars. Customer service gets 2 stars. Manager was competent and apologized so total rating...
Read moreHad an unexpected experience this morning. Took my grand-daughter this morning for breakfast around 9:30. She thought it would be cool to eat outside at the table. We rung the button on the board, could barely hear the employee. Tried to order the cinnasnacks. Was told they didn't have any. Proceeded to order the french toast sticks. Hard to hear but I thought she said they didn't have those as well. I said to the speaker/employee that I was having difficulty hearing her. She paused and came back on with a rude tone. I said to my grandbaby - They don't have french toast sticks and the employee said "We DO have them!" I paused, very confused. Asked my grandbaby what she wanted. The employee then said "Ma'am, why don't you buzz back in when you're actually ready to order." I feel as though this employee was very rude and disrespectful. We took our business elsewhere.
