We hired Anthony and his team to remove and replace a load bearing wall with a recessed beam, demo 1 bathroom and turn it into 2, reconfigure various closets, install a half wall, install an exterior door and patch exterior stucco. Anthony was very patient and flexible during the quoting process. We had a fixed budget and he worked with us to figure out what we would do ourselves and what portions he would do. We appreciated that he encouraged us to purchase all of our own fixtures and control the design/ budget, but he was happy to give recommendations based on experience. All total, we finished the project in 9 weeks and on budget. He was in constant communication regarding progress, problems, and any changes. His team was very friendly and worked diligently to keep the project moving. The electrical and plumbing subcontractors he used were top notch and went the extra mile to make sure everything was done right, even if you couldn't see it or it wasn't part of the original scope of the project. The drywall contractors were messier than expected and we didn't realize just how much dust was going to get in areas that weren't part of the construction zone. If I could have done it again, I would have moved absolutely everything out of the house before the project started to save the many hours of cleaning on the back end. Overall we are super happy with his work and have already recommended him and his team to many friends...

As a frequent reader of Google reviews I am often skeptical of who actually writes them. After using Anthony Pepe Contracting to renovate our bathroom shower, I felt compelled to share my experience so that others may know that using Anthony's team for a home renovation or construction project is a genuinely excellent choice.

Anthony was professional, considerate, and focused on providing the best work so that we would be satisfied with the result. While the project was small, Anthony treated our requests as if we were building a new home. The tile work in our shower is perfect, and that is not an exaggeration. Anthony's workers were professional, efficient, and neat; completing the project a day earlier than expected and leaving the bathroom so clean, that aside from noticing the new tile, it looked as if no construction took place at all.

No work completed with this company, but my review is based on our attempt to even have that happen. Called for an estimate on a 1/2 bath conversion to a full bath. When seeing the job at hand, he asked “if we were really sure we wanted to do it” and said he wouldn’t do the job, even though three other contractors have handed us estimates already. Fine, he was not interested. What does bother me though, is that during the visit, my husband pointed out a job with our deck that we also were interested in doing, and by chance he said he would be able to do that one for us no problem, he will send us a quote. Three weeks have passed, along with ignored phone calls and a voicemail we left asking if he was really sending a quote. Not even a call back.

Completely unprofessional, and obviously lacks skills that other area...
