Open Door — Local services in Franklin Township

As we all know there is good and bad out there. Truly, disgusting and one of the worst is CCHS. They send out a fast talking woman to your house to tell you, yes we have staff, yes we can do your hours, absolutely we have exactly what you're looking for. Our people are well trained, paid well and happy. You will receive the best staffing you've ever had. Lies. I have been with this company for 8 months now, through my dads death, and the loss of an aid who covered most of the hours for them. They helped me none, I lost my job caring for my family member because they could not provide staffing for a simple 8 hour day shift. 8 hours, that's all. The staff is primarily Somali, who can't speak, read or write English, which is a huge problem when trying to teach them how to care for your individual and administer medicine! I mean unbelievabke. They boast on their call off system saying if an aid calls of, they will send over your house lead right away to take charge and fill the shift. When you call them they tell you " we have a lot of office work right now, I can send over a brand new person to sit with your individual who needs to be able to administer medicine and clean/bathe and care for her with no training. Then they say they've done their job? Pitiful. Don't bother calling Becky their "Gm" or lead or whatever her lie of a title is, she simply will tell you I'll look into it and call you back with a sincere sorry. They even sent me one of their Case Managers from headquarters one time " apparently " who works on Abuse / Neglect cases, and she told me right to my face the company has a huge problem with their employees beating THE DISABLED and stealing from them and that I was lucky with what I had so far? ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?

I will never return to this company and i suggest you get with your service coordinator to leave them immediately before your loved one is abused, given the wrong dose of medicine, or neglected! Please do it...

After years finding good people who I can trust, I finally found the perfect group were people are friendly. The staff are super nice and very friendly and never have any issues at all. They have a housekeeper who cleans up after me. The staff cooks some really good food and does the dishes for you. They make lunches for you whenever you're in a hurry to work at viaquest. And they let you increase from 3 days to 5 days to work at viaquest so that I could earn more money. I'm really starting to love this and I'm going to stay at this group...

I want to take this opportunity to thank all those that assisted with the community event on July 5, 2018, "Fishing with Friends". This event included members of the community volunteer (and members of our staff) assisting our individuals Fishing at Griggs Reservoir. Everyone had a great time fishing and cooking out. Happy to report that there was one catch and release. I can't wait until...
