Maybe we came on a bad day....
Stopped in on a whim wile visiting Franklin with my 13 year old daughter and 21 year old son. Confirmed with front desk the Groupon deal would be best deal, so purchased that at a very reasonable price. The male cashier checking us out was pleasant and helpful. Bought 2 hours jumping and the socks as well.
Upon entering play area realized it was a very small facility compared to others we have been to. No big deal, we thought. Still make the best of it. There were about 10 attractions in total- the high and low planks, the general jump area, the toddler section, the zip line area, the dodgeball section, the parkour jump area, the Wipeout, the interactive video game, basketball, and the reaction wall. Unfortunately 3-4 at a time we're shut down or out of service. The reaction wall wasnt working, not able to play. The entire dodgeball section was closed. And the Wipeout section closed shortly after we arrived. The parkour section was open, but all the walls were closed off and marked with cones to not jump or climb walls.....so essentially just the 3 small normal tramps no parkour. Because of what was not working or closed, and one section for toddlers, that left maybe 5 things to do with 2 being the planks. While we paid for a 2 hour jump they only jumped for less than an hour and were more than done because they had to keep doing the same thing over and over.
I had chosen to use a massage chair, followed the instructions to push the yellow button to choose my time. There were signs posted that listed pricing, I opted for the $5/15 minute massage. However, when using the yellow button as the directions stated there was no $5 option but rather the $7/20 minute option. So I choose that, and was charged $20 for an hour. No big deal I figured just let them know. Since my massage already started I sent my son (21m) and they gave him a hard time about refunding stating thry dont usually refund chairs. After some persuasion yhey did end up giving back $13, as they sbould. The chair itself was unlike any I had used before, and different than even the ones next to it as it leaned back uncomfortably into the railing behind it and we couldn't fix it. It was stuck for the hour.....Not sure if thats why the massage wasnt working properly, or if it was just a bum chair, but didnt want to deal with trying to get the rest of my money back with them again so we tried to enjoy what we got and cut out losses.
Some of The young kids they have working here are totally checked out of watching and keeping the kids safe, and more just hanging out talking to each other. There were maybe 2 on the play floor at a time that I could see, and they were focused on their convo most of the time.
Lastly, bought the socks they require you to get for $7 for 2 pair. Both pair had a hole in the toes within a minute of them wearing them. I did notice most of the kids had different socks than us, so maybe it was the ones we got. Not sure but annoying to waste money on them.
Overall, we had a good time because we were together but......won't be going back. Have had much better experiences at their...
Read moreIf I could give 10/10 I would. I had my 30th birthday here. Yes. You read that right- 30. It was super easy to book the party starting from doing it online. If you have an inkling of how to use the internet, you will easily book your child’s party. Also the price is RIGHT. This was a BARGAIN for 20 jumpers. We did the 20 jumpers, table, and upgrade on the arcade card. Checking into the party was easy, my name was labeled in the party area and there were cubbies to put everyone’s shoes. The plates and napkins are included, made it super easy. They’re just simple and white so if you wanna be extra- you can bring yo own. The bottles of water on the tables ready to go was Perfect. We had a BLAST jumping around. Only thing that was sad was wipeout was down. But we had so much fun. I lost my balloons into the ceiling because I’m a hot mess. I really appreciate the effort by the staff on- shea, Sam, and Jason for getting them back. Speaking of Jason, that young person is amazing. He went absolutely above and beyond to make sure my birthday was perfect. He was attentive, fast moving, smiley, and he even went to get me a new balloon when mine popped. I literally cannot. He made sure everyone had a great time at my party from my 3 year old nephew to my 72 year old dad. It’s employees like him that have people come back again and again. Thank you Jason for truly making my birthday extra special. Will definitely...
Read moreI had two of my children’s birthday parties here- booked them at the same time or I would never have gone back after the first. Never again! Maybe during the day there are professional adults but in the evening there are only kids who stand behind the desk and talk and don’t acknowledge customers. The staff is rude, clueless and not trained. The check in process is unorganized and takes forever. All the parents who attended could not believe how unorganized and unprofessional this place was. Beware- the birthday parties are way too much money for what you get. Our party host did absolutely nothing. If you have more than 10 kids they charge you $26 each additional child. Such a rip off. Go down the street to Urban air where there are actually adults running the place and they don’t kick you out the second your time is up even though your guests spent the 1st 1/2 hour waiting in line to check in. Beware there are much better places to have a birthday party...
