I used to love this store before they moved to their new location on East Central Street. After they moved it became a store filled with flowers past their prime and trinkets that were mass produced instead of the curated items I had come to expect. Despite my better judgement I decided to order flowers for my daughter’s dance and I went to pick them up this morning. I had a day packed with appointments so I went to grab them for when they opened at 10 AM. When I arrived I was on the phone so I browsed for a few minutes, while an employee tailed me the entire time like she expected me to steal something. It made me uncomfortable so I quickly hung up and asked for the flowers I ordered. After waiting a few minutes I was told they weren’t ready. I said I ordered them for pickup today. The employee then said if I had ordered in store I would have been told the flowers weren’t ready until after noon. Why would you not put that in the listing? The confirmation email? Called and informed me? Then after I left I called to ask for a modification and was told the flowers were already made so too bad so sad. I was JUST there. Were they ready or not? This place used to be a gem, but it’s the last time they will have my money. EDIT I just picked up the “wrapped bouquet” that cost 45 dollars and this was the trash they gave me. As my friend and I where checking out not only did it take the cashier a while to acknowledge my friend, but when she did theres was no hello, no, "Oh, I'm sorry I didn't see you, how can I help you? " All she said said was "I can check you out over here." Still, no hello. When it was finally my turn, instead of addressing me she looked over my head look at the gentleman behind me and asked very nicely, "Hello! Are you picking up flowers!?" To which he responded that he was so she said "Okay. I can help you over here." I was so shocked, like was I invisible? So I stepped aside assuming she was going to take care of him. Nope. That was apparently for me. She looked annoyed at me and said "Hi, I'm talking to you " I'm sorry, how was I supposed to know that? You greated a customer WHO WAS BEHIND ME. Extremely unprofessional. She looked 12, so I'm assuming this is her first job experience. But great personality skills you hire. 0/10 I don't recommend come here. Also the prices OUTLANDISH! Read moreToday, I received a beautiful bouquet of flowers from Fiori and Fern given to me by my Husband. It was our 30th anniversary so I know he wanted something very special. He stopped by the shop and asked for a bouquet inspired by my bridal flowers. I always tell him that I like colorful and seasonal flowers. The team at Fiori and Fern absolutely nailed it. The flowers were fresh, colorful and arranged with incredible attention to detail.
He surprised me by dropping them off at my work, and everyone in the office couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the flowers were. The bouquet brought so much joy to my day.
Fiori and Fern will be doing the flowers at my daughter's wedding later this month makes me even more excited. If this amazing bouquet was created on short notice, I can only imagine how wonderful the wedding florals will be.
