This store looks great but some items remain out of stock for long periods of time and I'm not too crazy about that. Also, here's a little Tip from someone who's previously worked at not 1, not 2 but 3 major Supermarkets: Whenever your item isn't on the shelf and an Employee tells you that, whatever stock that they had has already been put on the shelf, DEMAND to see someone else who'll take the time to check the Store Room in the back of the Store 🏬. That's where 'Overstock' is kept. There's a chance that your item is either on a distribution Cart or still on a Pallet. I used to put myself through a LOT of trouble by digging through the aforementioned places to find that 1 item that Customers needed and it usually paid off. The store has ample selection, decent pricing, and is probably paying a hefty lighting bill. It's brighter than a hospital in there. Not the best selection for liquor, plenty of beer and wine, the french bread is usually on point, their deli is helpful while their checkout service is usually good, rarely great, but one time was missing in action while they palled around in the nearby office. One thing that bothers me is how much trash some patrons throw right out of their cars onto the parking lot. Well, the place is clean. The people are very nice. However I hate shopping there. First it's not a neighborhood market. They dont stock enough local items for people in the area, for instance gulf seafood. It's all from overseas somewhere. Then the prices, My God. They know that being in a small town we dont have a choice. I love Rouses and at times they can be expensive too, but they have what I want so I dont mind.
