Walmart — Local services in Franklin

After purchasing something and getting home and opening the item to find it was broken , I returned within 10 minutes of leaving this establishment to return the broken item for one that worked . I had the receipt and the same bag it was sold to me in . You also have it on your cameras , me going there purchasing an item, and returning about 8 minutes later . Not only did no one help me , they made my experience miserable , and accused me of swapping the item and threatened to call the police on me. And I quote , “we’ve called the police on people for less than this “ I will never be returning to Walmart after this . I already hated going to Walmart because of stuff like this , and prior experiences . You’ve also insulted my integrity and embarrassed me in front of a line of people . And I will be telling everyone about my experience. I also just so happen to be one of the people that does live music in this area as well, so people are going to listen to me. This Walmart is very clean and the price are amazing but one area I feel they could use some improvement is customer service. . I brought my children school shopping recently and spent close to $240.00 and would have spent more if the employees following us as if we were doing something wrong. Yes, I understand people do steal and crime rate in this area is very high but to make not only me but my kids feel completely uncomfortable is taking it a bit to far . A few times I considered pushing the basket to customer service and walking out but instead we paid for out merchandise and just left. I have worked retail and caught a few shop lifters also I have even seen people who I would be unsure about that I would keep a eye on but in a more professional manner. I went back a few days ago with my fiance and my youngest daughter and it was not as horrible as our school supply trip but it was Runner up so I think I will be switching store locations. It was clean and I got in and out of there in decent time. I walked through there with my empty holster on my side and no one seemed to care. I hope that one day they'll post a sign saying that they allow holstered guns 🔫. That'll be awesome. I'm no 'gun nut' by a long shot but since the Constitution says we all the right then..
