Walgreens — Local services in Fremont

Walgreen Blacow no more like a pharmacy it is like a government office that work Mon-Fri 10-5 lunch break 1 hour...So sad...

We have been using this store for last 7 years. Now we are planning to shift to Walmart/Costco or CVS. We were there for Pneumonia and Shingles shots with appointments, it took 75 minutes to get after complains. It is taking 2-3 days to refill the prescription. The online shows " filling Prescription" and it takes several days to refill. Last time I was there to pick it up and the associate said no medication ready. I showed them the medication that was shown ready to pick up online and she says" It was was long list and I did not see. Today we have two medication to refill and it is showing reviewing/and filling the prescription from yesterday. Looks like it will take couple of days.generally it would take 30 minutes to 2 hours maximum before. When I complained to the pharmacist, she says shortage of staffs. They are saying this for last 6 months. Why Walgreen can not recruit enough staffs ? Walgreen is not in our preference any more...so sad ...

My doctor prescribed my medicine on 11/19/2021, and today 11/23, I had not yet received the medicine. It says "pharmacist reviewing the prescription " For how long they will review ?

Time to say " BYE...

This Pharmacy is the worst that I have seen lately. I have to wait more than two hours for the medicine. They send me a text that my medicine is already there and when I go to pick it up they tell me to wait, it is not ready. I wait for 2 hours and the supervisor first gets to give vaccines, then she starts talking to the employees, the other goes to buy coffee and the clients wait until they feel like serving, there is no way to complain to the supervisor because she is the same or worse than the employees. Terrible service does not...

I came in today looking for a plan b. They are locked so I went to ask an associate for help. I let her know I needed her to open something on the feminine care aisle. She loudly replied “WHAT ITEM DO YOU WANT”. I am 31 years old and not embarrassed at all, but I’m sure maybe someone younger than me would be. I thought that was so ridiculously unprofessional and it’s actually never happened to me before. When a customer wants something open, you walk with them and you open it not question...
