Davis Park Golf Course — Local services in Fruit Heights

We have lived backed to Davis Park golf course for 9 years and never had one window broken. The past 6 months we've had 4... After inquiring with the golf course to see what had changed we were assured "Oh no nothing has changed, the fairway is all the same." Which is funny considering we asked a few golfers and every one of them said the fairway HAD changed and tee off was in fact moved about 50 yards up because of construction.... So the golf course lied to our faces. Multiple times... Not only did they lie, the manager/director/supervisor has been rude every time we have tried to talk to them. My daughter who just turned 18 wanted to go golfing and learn for the first time in her life. As such, it was recommended that I go to Davis Park Golf Course, for an outstanding first impression. Being the very first time for my daughter, we were a bit slow, however, courteous and let people pass by as to not create a bunch of traffic, but apparently this was not enough, and we were quickly reprimanded for going slow— not a good first impression. Because of this, my daughter was constantly stressing that she was taking too long, and ruined her experience. I used to golf here almost weekly. It is a great course and it very well maintained, used to be one of my favorites. However, the 2 day in advance booking policy is ridiculous and I wish they would retire this procedure. I try booking a tee time the second the website allows but there is never anything available and I don’t understand why. In the rare occasion I am able to get a tee time, I am always bottlenecked behind 3 groups with 2 groups waiting on my heels. This course is overbooked and the pace of play is painfully slow. 9 holes takes almost an hour longer here than anywhere else I go. This course has too much potential to be this poorly ran.
