This is a great store with great people who take care of everyone, customer service wise, exceptionally. But my review is actually of their convenience store inside of Ace Hardware, where they have the ultimate selection of beef jerky products. I love beef jerky and nowhere have I ever been, have they had the kind of selection that I saw here. They had flavors and brands I had never heard of before. Normal convenience stores have 4 to 8 feet Max. This store has over 16 feet of beef jerky and beef stick products If you are a connoisseur of beef jerky and beef stick products, you absolutely have to come here to check it out. They have everything! We were so surprised at the breadth of their selection. Had some ice cream at the tasty freeze. Our family was split on it. Some loved the really, really creamy ice cream. Others, not so much, it was too creamy for them.

The Co-Op café is probably the best deal in fruita for Awesome food. Their Philly and club sandwiches are go-to's. Great sandwiches for 6 and 7 bucks. I didn't think to take a photo until I was 3 bites in. They are very hearty portions.

The Co-Op café is probably the best deal in fruita for Awesome food. Their Philly and club sandwiches are go-to's. Great sandwiches for 6 and 7 bucks. I didn't think to take a photo until I was 3 bites in. They are very hearty portions.

I've done business the Fruita Co-op for many years, not because they were the lowest prices but because of their knowledgeable and friendly staff and the location is perfect for me. However on my last visit things took a wrong turn when i grabbed an extension cord off the hook and it says BUY 1 GET 1 FREE ...then I realized the tag is expired!!! OK no big deal right? They'll honor it I say to myself. Nope. The manager on duty tells me no they won't honor it, can't do anything about it and can't do anything for me. I politely make her aware half the aisle where the sandpaper is STILL has expired tags up also!! The ad changed 2 days prior folks. I wasn't looking to get something for nothing, I'm also 20 years in retail and I don't throw tantrums in stores to get my way but I do know there are other places to shop for your hardware, lawn and gardening...

Once again, no one available to help you with what you are looking for. Then only one cashier at the busiest time of the day on a Saturday! So after standing in line for 20 minutes to buy 3 small items( I was only in there to use my $5 loyalty certificate) the cashier didnt know how to apply the certificate, so had to wait another 5 minutes for someone who could show her how to apply the certificate and of course an even longer line forming behind me. I finally got out of there. Probably the main reason why I don't shop there anymore. Would rather drive another 10 miles to Home Depot or Lowes where at least theres more than one cashier and someone...
