AWESOME pool and facility, but poorly managed. We paid $42 for three adults and three children to swim on a weekday, only to get into the facility and find out that both water slides and the diving board were closed. I counted four adults in the entire pool area, and one other small child. All of my children are expert swimmers--we have our own, in-ground pool--but each of the children were questioned extensively and made to prove they could swim adequately AFTER they had already been swimming for nearly 30 minutes. The lifeguards here are no-joke, and while I appreciate their vigilance--one of them is walking a brisk pace in and around the center of the pool area, checking every nook and cranny about every 8-10 seconds (yes, literally)--but their continual whistling and reprimanding of my children for "running," being in the hot-tub without an adult (a mere five feet away from me), venturing too close to any number of obstacles and attractions in the facility, etc.--was a bit much. We may go back, but I'll make sure my already-best-behaved-kids-at-most-any-public-setting are really on-guard in case they have to have an unwanted confrontation with the pool police (a 17 year old on a power-trip). Also, I'd love it if when we check in, the person at the desk could tell us, "All of the reasons you came to our pool, like the diving board and slides are closed, so you may want to come back another time when your $42 will be a better...
Read moreWe decided to come here when our hotel pool was freezing and our kiddos were sad. It wasn’t terribly priced for non residents. I think we paid about $20 for two adults and two kids. Nice locker rooms and they had several great family changing rooms which we loved. Pool was heated and had large wade in pool. Some sprayers and splashers for little kids. Our favorite was the lazy River with a whirlpool in the center of it!! We stayed there for a couple hours. Lots of life guards on duty. Deeper side, diving board, water slide, and hot tub for older kids and adults. We were incredibly impressed with this place. Check pool hours before going. They closed at...
Read moreI’ve played volleyball here for years and have enjoyed my experience. This year, there is a new manager and she will not educate herself on how to set up the volleyball nets and she refuses to accept help in getting the nets set properly. The nets are so low that they are not coed height. As we know, coed height nets are for the protection of the players, so the men aren’t able to smash the ball down into faces. This is a safety hazard and I would expect that with the price that is paid to play, that we would get professional (or at least professional acting) service. Lorie should be talked to about her customer service and safety protocol before...
