Walgreens — Local services in Fryeburg

STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE THAT REFUSES TO PROVIDE A BATHROOM FOR CUSTOMERS. It has now been well over two decades that I have hated this store. All except for the pharmacy, they treat their customers like second-rate garbage. When my child was around five years old, they threw her pictures away even though we lived right down the street. For a number of years after they discarded my daughter's pictures, I took my business elsewhere. As far as I'm concerned, the discarding of customers pictures constitutes theft. The fact that you're a local customer does not mean anything to them. They treat all customers like flunky non-persons. As is always the case, they still refuse to let customers use their bathroom. Several days ago when I was there, they told a customer who was elderly that they did not have any bathroom and that there was one across the street. I thought they were so insanely rude that I left the store. Actually, the the Chinese restaurant in this plaza has one for customers but the staff at Walgreens don't seem to tell people this. What flips me out about this is that most Walgreens stores do have a bathroom for customers and so do many drug store chains. The fact that they do not have one is a violation on the customers trust. I was going to switch pharmacies, but I’ve firmly changed my mind and highly recommend no one uses them, because I dropped of my daughters medicine, they said they would call or text me in 24 hours after they switched her to their pharmacy and filled her meds. Several days go by and I head nothing. I call them and tell them never mind because clearly they don’t care about the health of the customers they service, and the employee said “Okay.” And abruptly hung up on me. I was polite, but firm and I never swore or raised my voice. He was rude and never once apologized. DO NOT use this Walgreens if you expect good customer service. Walmart is cheaper...

Had a wonderful experience with the pharmacist here who with much kindness, interest and thoughtful care offered me advice on my painful finger which had an ingrown nail.
