Long River — Restaurant in Fryeburg

First mistake was that we dined in. We are from Texas. The food was served in a to go box with plasticware. The hot tea was served in a to go cup which we could not handle as it was too hot, also it changed the taste of the Oolong tea AND the Green tea, very disappointing. After watching a couple of folks coming to get their to go orders, we then understood that almost nobody eats inside. We got a "to go" order served inside, plasticware and all. I would recommend that they use real ceramic plates, cups and real silverware. This just might improve things a bit. Another point, I am a white man and my wife is a black woman 15yrs younger than me. She and I got the stink eye from the old man in the back. I am making no judgements whatsoever only relaying facts. And there were signs on the wall stating loud and clear, "CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF"! They clearly do not want dine in guests so why waste the space? I am a frequent flyer here 1 or twice a month. The small takeout 🥡 👌 restaurant I can afford. I eat gluten-free & more restaurants are offering my kind 😇 of food. I just gave a review on two places today on QUINN'S JOCKEY 🏇 CAP COUNTRY STORE & and a little ice cream shack on the way back from the Dr's ( Route 160 Ice Cream🍦). Seems like most reviews are two years old or more so I decided to comment. I am pretty picky about Chinese food and I have nothing bad to say about Long River. They are very fast and always super polite. The food is the best I have been able to find within at least a 30 minute drive from Conway. Yes the place could use some renovations, but it is not really meant to be an eat in place, its a take out restaurant.
