Recently had lost our dog due to unfortunate events the only thing is we've been trying to accommodate for the apartments we lived in and finding a dog that suits I had searched multiple shelters and everything else and didn't find anything finally came across their site looked and found one dog that was going to work for us so I took me and my girl over to the shelter that was 30 minute drive to fill in the application and to see the dog we were then told after we got there and they handed us a dog that it was accidentally the wrong one they ended up finally handing us the right one little later and then the boss of the shelter walked in saw me filling out the application and saw that our prior dog that was a runt of a litter that lived four amazing years since she was not spayed - neutered that we pretty much already did not qualify and even when we explained the reason why kept on getting interrupted and had multiple times while filling out the rest of the application of her mentioning that excuses were unacceptable and made multiple gabs of mentioning in a way that we were horrible owners because we never got her fixed of our previous dog and said all sorts of other things as she continued to interrupt us when we explained that we were searching for one that definitely worked under the guidelines of our apartments and matched what we wanted as I finished application Boss of the location then informed us that the dog was a mix all the sudden complete different from what the breed was shown on their site and was said to be and made multiple comments that showed no sympathy and no compassion as show no compassion after saying that multiple times people sometimes have to bring animals back to the facility and such and when we then canceled the application pretty much was told of that yeah you go ahead and live your life as we act like nothing happened as we had even explained that our previous dog even though not actually a doctored in as a support animal but was a support animal for my girl and with the amount of disrespect and degrading and unprofessionalism has put my girl back into a depressed state that she's been fighting since we lost our previous furry family member. Highly suggest not going to location unless you are first time pet owners of any sort and even with that I do not...

My review has been taken off this awful places reviews. Do not adopt here. They charged me 100 plus for my fur baby. 4 years later I'm in a bad situation with a sick dog,I went to this awful place seeking help for my dog. I was told that I could SURRENDER my dog and buy her back when I merely ask for payment plan. I was shunned,treated like I was a horrible pet owner. My dogs are attached to each other, especially me. Surrending my fur baby would have left all 3 of us broken. The manager stepped outside with me so the other customers couldn't hear how cold hearted she truly is. If I could give this greedy company a 0 in stars ,they deserve it. I have adopted 2 dogs, one from Corpus Christi for 25.00 and the other for 100 plus,from this uncaring,all about the money place. People,go to Corpus Christi and adopt for 25.00. This is a perfect example,this place is all about money. They refused me and I adopted my girl here. I am in a financial bind due to physical violence. I could barely walk myself and was out of work for 3 months. I'm not just devastated. I'm hurt from the violent attack and devastated from the neglect I received. They removed my review,so I felt compelled to send out another review. Keep deleting and I'll keep posting. We went there having a couple dogs in mind. I even called ahead of time telling the lady (I think her name was autumn?) that we were on our way WITH MY KIDS. Once we got there she was immediately disrespectful and rude because we brought our kids with. She made multiple comments about how our kids were just too much for the dogs to be around. She said our kids were going to scare the dogs and that we should "Just go to an actual animal shelter where they can handle kids being too loud." Her actual words. My kids were not being loud they were excited to adopt a dog and instead was told by a stranger that the dogs wouldn't like them. Absolutely unprofessional. If kids aren't allowed maybe put a sign up or even mention on the phone the limit of people allowed? We drove over an hour to look at dogs and instead we were not allowed to see them. She only allowed us to see the puppies even though we told her we wanted an older dog. There is some beautiful dogs on the website. But due to the staff being horrible I do not recommend going there.
