The employees here are nice. Plus, their store usually has what I need in stock⦠most of the time. Also, this store is always clean.
My biggest complaint w this store would be the grocery carts. Every time I come here they are always scattered around everywhere, even on the weekend mornings when there are hardly any ppl. Every time I grab a grocery cart itās always broken. The wheels donāt work, the cart leans to one side, the cart makes a loud, obnoxious noise every time I use itā¦. Itās 2025!!! How come this location canāt buy some new carts?!? Also, they decided to get rid of the mini carts. Using the small, mini carts made it so much easier for me to ship for groceries, especially since Iām single and shopping for myself.
Also, every time I buy organic lettuce here, I end up throwing half of it away because itās either rotten or covered w insects. This morning I spent 10 minutes cleaning my lettuce when I was trying to prep my lunch for work because it was COVERED in insects. I never thought I would say this, but Walmart actually has better organic products than Kroger. It just confuses me why Kroger wants to charge WAYYY MORE than Walmart I order to sell compromised goods.
But then I realize this Kroger is a ghetto Kroger, so I can expect ghetto results. I just thought Kroger had higher standards since they want to charge more than other places.
What exactly am I paying extra for??
Also if you can please tell the security guard and other employees to stop watching me every time I shop because they think Iām going to steal something. Being a single male on this side of town, ppl really like to discriminate against you. Every time I look up while shopping at this location, I constantly seeing employees watching me and making me feel uncomfortable. Iām not dumb. I can see you starring at me! š
One last thing: I donāt work at Kroger so I donāt see why I have to check myself out! Hire more ppl to work the registers! You expect me to pick out my own food, pay for it⦠then bag it myself?? Wow. Itās unbelievable how lazy and greedy corporations have become.
This location seems to be cutting corners in order to benefit the company rather than the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent shopping here after work to pick some salmon to cook for dinner tonight. I was waiting at the seafood department for a few minutes didn't see any workers in the back. I saw a man working near by putting out some beef items he also saw me waiting there. I raised my hand to let him know I was in need of help at the seafood department. He walked over to me asked if I needed something while asking me he coughed into his hand several times and even made a gross sound with his nose like he was sucking in mucus. I told him yes I needed some salmon he walked around the counter and coughed again into his hand. He grabbed one glove out of a box and put it on half way to the end of the palm he then grabbed a plastic bag and stuck his hand with no glove inside the bag to open it up. He asked me what piece of salmon I wanted I pointed out which one and he picked it up put it in the bag weighed and priced it then gave it to me. I was so disgusted at this point. He never washed his hands! That is unacceptable very unsanitary and just gross that is a health code violation! He should know that when returning to your department wash your hands, before putting on new gloves wash your hands, especially when coughing and touching your face WASH YOUR HANDS!!! I immediately spoke with management and expressed that I was very unhappy with that experience their are protocols and procedures that are to be followed! I handed that piece of salmon back to the manager. If that is what was done in front of me imagine what happens in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI donāt do a bunch of my shopping here but what little I need I can find, most of the time. Majority of the time I come itās to get my registration/inspection sticker whatever youād like to call it. I went in today with my husband to get his stickers. Laura (newly hired) was very pleasant and friendly. When she scanned our paper the printer misprinted an incorrect copy and Laura then paged for help from a manager. Mind you while in line I witnessed 2 managers walk by and completely ignore the line which has at least 8 people in it. Laura was unfortunately by herself and wanted to help everyone in line but she could only do so much. Why 2 managers walked by and did nothing, Iām not sure but it was highly frustrating. My husband and I went to these managers and let them know that Laura needed help and to see if they could fix what the printer messed up. One manager named Amy went back to the booth to āassistā but she didnāt do much. She tapped a couple buttons on one screen then another associate Destinee finished our transaction. I wish the managers would do more for not just their customers but their employees. Laura and Destinee were a prime example of great customer service and I thank them for their help today. Management needs a crash course in...
