Steve and Dawn are absolutely amazing when it comes time to deal with one of the worst days of your life. I've been to a number of services handled by Galena Funeral Home and have always come away with a sense of calm. Recently, we had to deal with the loss of my father. Even though I've been to services before, I was totally unprepared for what to do. Upon receiving the news of my father's passing, I immediately called Steve. Even at 5:30 in the morning, Steve was as caring and professional as you could hope for. From day one, Steve and Dawn directed and helped us along every step of the way. Our requests were a little different than many services, but they handled everything with ease, and that put us at ease.
