Costello's at the Nest — Local services in Galloway Township

I used to go to the one in Smithsville and ALWAYS had great food. I went to Galloway and was not happy. Ordered the tails and they were dried and over cooked. You can tell they either forgot they were in the fryer or the fryer's heat was up to high. 350 MAX for chicken in a fryer, 325 for perfect chicken. They put the blue cheese dressing in the bag with the hot chicken which made the blue cheese very warm and gross. The counter girl was very nice and very personable. No complaints there. But the cook needs to learn that there is no such thing as COOKING FAST! Quality is way down at this location. Will go to Smithville next time, if...

Food was hot & tasty. We ordered delivery two blocks away. Unfortunately, the bruschetta was all piled up on one side of the container causing a few pieces of bread to become soggy & saturated while others lay naked. I ordered the Godfather sandwich. Overall, it tasted good. I chose the seeded roll but should have ordered the sub roll. The seeded roll was softer & not toasted. (I did not request it to be toasted but expected a firmer style sandwich). My husband ordered chicken fingers and fries, which were as expected. Kinda hard to mess that up. May give another. Ordered a sicilian - with two toppings - almost a 30 dollar pizza. Was given a square “flat bread” with the oldest dough possibly used. This improv attempt to make a sicilian didn’t cook correctly whatsoever. Burnt bottom but the most chewiest raw middle. A $30+ pizza. If you ran out of sicilian shells, simply call the customer - change the order/price on the slice app and make things right. Dont make executive decisions for my almost 65 dollar order that half of it had to be thrown out. Thank god there’s several other pizzerias...
