Dollar General — Local services in Galloway Township

The staff are rude and unhelpful. They’ll all be hiding so they don’t have to check customers out. We have in the past had to wait forever any time there is an age restricted item. But today I was appalled that the staff are gross towards their customers making fun of us in front of us and treating us like a cheap laugh. The manager Jeff was leading this mockery and setting a terrible example for his team by discriminating against us and verbaitim referring to myself and my roommates as a “throuple” and misgendering me while picking up my testosterone. Jeff is the store manager. He does an amazing job keeping the small store neat and stocked. He went out of his way to pull an item from the back inventory that was not even out for summer stock yet to accommodate me with my pregnant dog. We needed a kiddie pool, Jeff called me at home to let me know he had the pool ready for me at the front register. Amazing customer service!!!!! And Joanne a store associate is always very pleasant and very helpful. I enjoy shopping just to have a short conversation with her!!!!! There are many dollar generals popping up everywhere but we will continue to go to our Home town Smithville location Because of the staff.

Been using this Dollar General for a little over six to seven years now. I know the manager Jeff very well and the staff is easy to get along with. You could wait in the line from time to time as there's usually only one register open as it is a very small store. Lane Isles are closer together than your average Dollar General, and they do have Digital Coupons you can take advantage of on Saturdays.
