Hello, For several years I have been a consistent and a happy customer of SJF. So when time came to plan our flower needs early this year for our late June wedding naturally my fiancé and I met with Marcy first. As expected she made great presentation and price seemed reasonable so after a 1-1.5 hour presentation we agreed to go with SJF right away. Put $900 cash down payment on the spot and boom we had our florist in place. Obviously COVID happened and wedding cancelled. Last week of April I call Marcy and immediately am told her son and manager Stephen will call me back later in week. He calls back couple of days later and we had half hour conversation. I was asking for them to refund me minus Marcy’s time spent with us during sales pitch. His stance was categorical denial of refund from the very beginning of conversation, instead he proposed store credit to be applied for one-time event (party, funeral, etc.) or $300. My argument: We didn’t cost the store any revenue in opportunity cost by canceling that date well in advance. They wouldn’t have any other wedding that day any way. I would’ve accepted any payment plan if business could not refund whole amount right away. Minus Marcy’s presentation time spent. While as per wording of contract they have right to keep our money clearly “act of god” exceptions should be made. They did nothing to earn that money. Stephen’s argument was: Business was down 45% during first quarter. They had to lay off 7 employees. Marcy’s time is valued at least at $100 per hour plus profit, she spent long time thinking about our event after meeting with us. If they refund everyone business will go under, and brought up personal family situation. After hearing his arguments I was only able to conclude that business still was way better than others. SJF was able to eliminate ALL of its variable costs. Only fixed cost was probably rent and if they still had business they should’ve easily covered it. And after bringing up Flower expert’s outrageous hourly rate, personal family situation and then subsequently offering insulting $300 check I realized they were trying to justify STEALING our money without providing any base for their argument. Emails back and forth followed up just confirming I will not be accepting their insulting offer. I will not let this UNJUST THEFT to take place and will be pursuing legal methods against this...

South Jersey Florist outdid themselves with our wedding florals! Marci, Kellie and Steven and the rest of the team really made our wedding day vision come together. I really wanted white florals that were super elegant and timeless; Marci helped us decide on which florals were the best to go with. During meetings she would show us photo examples of previous work to show sizing, and she used inspiration photos I had to design what we wanted. At a final meeting the team made a mock centerpiece for us to show exactly what we were getting which was wonderful. We rented the candlesticks from them as well. The team really helped make your budget expand - we reused our arch piece for our sweetheart table and it was absolutely perfect. My bouquet was the most perfect size and was delivered to my bridal suite by their staff member Steven personally! Working with them was very easy and they were extremely helpful throughout the entire process. Our flowers were so beautiful, cant recommend...

I am extremely impressed with this flower shop! I ordered flowers for delivery on Valentine's Day literally the day before, and it went so smoothly that I was suspicious. I was worried that the flowers wouldn't turn out like the picture or that there'll be an issue with delivery somehow, but no news means good news. I ordered online and made absolutely no other contact with the flower shop, yet come Valentine's Day, the delivery went off without a hitch and the flowers came out GORGEOUS. My mom said she and her entire workplace were so surprised by the enormous flower arrangement and she sounded so happy on the phone. I attached a photo of what flowers I ordered and how it actually came out. Great work!!!! I would definitely order from them again and highly recommend them to others looking for a stress-free flower...
